I bought this along with the 4TB WD drive, and I think it was suggested as a companion purchase but I admit I am not sure. With the internal padded flap it is not big enough for the thicker 4TB drive. Once I cut that flap out with scissors I found there was enough room to fit the 4TB drive and the USB 3.0 cable inside. I really cant complain since the description says its for a 1TB or 2TB drive and I must not have seen that when I ordered it.

Fits my new Western Digital 2TB My Passport External Hard drive nicely, a little snug but it fits. Great price and easy to safely transport my portable hard drive.

A bit snug, which I think its a good thing. Very nice case.

The case is great as far as protection and storage goes, but it smells SO strongly of chemicals/solvent fumes that I had to put it outside! Now my hard drive wreaks as well. No idea what sort of toxic fumes are coming out of it, but my entire house smelled for days, and it gave everyone a headache and nausea.
