Great materials and nice fit for my external HD.

Holds my WD My Passport Ultra 2TB drive perfectly with room for cables. It also holds my WD My Passport Cinema 1k which I use to watch native 4K movies on my Samsung SUHD. It is thinner but still supported and padded. I havent dropped either drive (yet) but I believe the case would protect it with no problems!

Its so sturdy and helps keep the connections clean. Theres also place for the cords so they dont get misplaced or lost in the bottom of my computer carry case. A must have.

This Lacdo version has padding, but it is too snug for the Western Digital 2TB Passport which is what I bought it for. So I had to swap it out for one of my 1TB drives. The construction of the Lacdo seems cheap, at least in comparison to the Amazon version. For example the lanyard does not open smoothly.But if you are not a believer, buy both (the Lacdo and the Amazon) and compare for yourself. The waterproof feature seems attractive at first, but in hind sight, if your hard drive drive is near copious amounts of water...it seems that you would have other more serious problems to worry about.

Im a teacher and I am horribly hard on external devices and have had to replace 2 prior to getting this case. My husband bought it for me and not only does it protect my external drive, but it holds several thumb drives as well. I absolutely love this case.Its sturdy, slim and slides into the pocket of my laptop bag.

There is nothing to dislike about this case. Great design and compact with extra padding to protect hard drive.
