I was a bit nervous that this would be an annoying process to capture and send in my milk, but Lactation Lab makes it very simple—they send you everything you need (storage for milk, ice pack, postage for return) and all you have to do is express your milk, freeze it, and then drop the package off at the post office. I received my results about a week after sending and it was interesting to see what I could optimize in my diet/supplements to improve my milk. Since I am a pescatarian, I was coming in low in some key areas like iron so now I have the insight to supplement accordingly. I had a few questions about my results and emailed Dr. Canale who responded very promptly, great customer service! There is also a Facebook group where you can ask questions, etc which I am planning to join for continued support. Overall, I highly recommend it!

Im so glad that I decided to go ahead and try this! It was super easy to use. Directions were VERY easy to follow - just freeze some pumped milk and send off in the prepaid envelope. I got my test results back in a week! Results were easy to read and understand. Highly recommend, especially to anyone who was anemic during their pregnancy and wants to make sure their baby gets the iron they need.

I just have to say that this is by far the best purchase! I have always worried if my baby is getting enough from my milk! Dr Stephanie is an angel! due to shipping delays, my sample arrived late to them but she did everything to rush it! I ordered this kit because I was really curious to see what my baby was getting for nutrition from my milk. We exclusively breastfeed as I have with all my children. This was my 2nd kit! I ordered my first one with my last baby. If you reorder for the same child or subsequent children, they give you a discount code, which is already a huge plus in my book. The kit is very easy to use and comes with very clear and easy instructions. But what I was most impressed with was the customer service! The results come in an e mail directly from one of the owners. I love that they deliver the information personally instead of just setting up some basic automated e mail with your results plugged in. She not only gives you your results but she explains everything and gives you recommendations and suggestions if need be. When I read my e mail results it happened to be late at night, I was concerned about a few things with my results so I ended up e mailing her back right away with my questions. I was expecting to hear back from her at some point within the next few days. To my surprise, she e mailed me back right away! It was within 10 minutes. I was blown away! It truly goes to show how much they care for their customers. She could easily just have ignored me with the typical Im not working right now mindset. I am so happy that I purchased Lactation Labs kit. I was following a Vegan diet and my doctors were concerned my breast milk wouldnt have the protein and fat content necessary to feed my baby. After taking the test, I saw that my numbers in those categories exceeded average, and it gave me and my medical team peace of mind. I also saw that I was lower in B12 and Iron, which I am now supplementing into my diet. I would 100% recommend everyone test their breast milk to know how they can best support the health of their babies!
