This is a really nice toy for the first year of a toddler. Very bright, easy to handle, and they can always see them when put away in container.

I have newer version (the one with no water). I think this is the version that has been out now for sometimes (and part of the reason I wish Amazon would create new entries for new versions of baby items since they seem to always be changing and cant rely on older reviews). Anyway...my 10month old baby loves this toy and has now for the past 3+ months. She plays with it almost every morning while getting ready for the day, and every morning, she has just as much fun as the morning before. The toy is great in that it is quiet - ie not electronic and no batteries needed. The animals are just the right size for her hands to grab out of the bowl. For some reason, she has become especially attached to the starfish. Unfortunately, we lost it somewhere and thus, had to buy another fish bowl toy (since you cant purchase just a single animal). We kept the starfish but gave the rest of the duplicate to her daycare classroom - the kids there immediately circled around the toy and all started playing with it too (ages 6 months - 14 months)

I got this for my 6m baby for her first Christmas. She really loves it. The clam squeaks, the starfish and fish are rattles, and the crab is crinkly. She loves playing with all of them with her hands and mouth. Its fun for us to put things in the bowl and pull them out. I would recommend this.

Seems like the silliest, most simple toy in the world, but the babies love it. For whatever reason, that red and purple clam is the best thing in the world for them. They also love the sound and feel of the fish bowl itself. I thought some review said there was water inside the sides of this toy - there is not. Its just fabric and plastic sides. Makes a very gratifying plastic sound when babies play with it.

She plays with the fish constantly and has more fun pulling the fish out of the bowl and sticking her hands and feet in the bowl. And the bowl is narrow enough that she canNOT stick her head in. LOVE LOVE LOVE Lamaze plush toys.

It was our newest grandsons first christmas gift. He must love it because he keeps throwing it on the floor so his mom and dad can keep picking it up,

Got this for our 7 month old grand daughter. Opening is soft which is good but hard for little ones to put the animals back in the bowl. After just 3 months the stitching is coming apart at the bottom.
