I wanted a stand that would elevate my iPad for video calls. This stand is much shorter than the way it is depicted in pictures. Consequently, it needs to be placed on stacked books to bring your tablet to face level.

I use my tablet as my TV and this stand works well for me. My tablet fits horizontally and vertically. The stand is one piece, so no cranks, screws or adjusting. I got the gray/silver and it looks nice, is good quality. Recommend for viewing programs, recipes on countertop, etc.
