Works very nicely for holding the iPad Air or the 10.5 iPad Pro. The friction hinge has a good balance between stability and the ability to move it when required. Five stars - would definitely buy again!

Whether Im reading a book on my phone or Kindle Fire while eating a meal on a TV tray or listening to music while sewing, the stand takes up very little room. I had shoulder surgery and actually propped the stand on a pillow on my stomach while in the recliner so I could read my Kindle books one-handed. It was a lifesaver.
