Large enough to keep even your trouser-legs dry, or for two people. I chose it to replace a more compact umbrella - keeping dry was more important to me than compactness. For traveling, and for lightness, I age 3-stars each - thats not a penalty, its just descriptive. It will do both, just know that its a little bulkier and a little heavier than a compact umbrella. Youll be trading tiny for a full-sized canopy though not as long a staff, spring loaded to open AND close - just give it plenty of room before you press the button!

The 54” inverted umbrella from Lanbrella is exactly what I was looking for. I have a small inverted umbrella from another seller and one of the ribs broke after a couple of uses. And I learned that the small umbrella is just too small to cover me comfortably so I was shopping for a larger one. Upon receiving this umbrella, I decided to register for a life time warranty right away. A few emails went through between myself and Joey from Lanbrella Support Team and I am very impressed with the service I received from him. He efficiently and satisfactorily took care of getting the warranty registered and offered me an additional discount on the next purchase which I took advantage of immediately. Today, I was able to finally use the large umbrella and I was so pleased in every way. The umbrella is light in weight, large enough to cover two persons (6’3” & 5’3” tall), and its opening and closing button worked flawlessly. It poured so much rain that I thought the umbrella will be soaked but the umbrella was dry to touch! After an hour I touched it again thinking that the moisture would have seeped through by then but it was still dry! I don’t know how well it will survive a very windy day but Joey insured me that the warranty will cover the damage should the umbrella fail to withstand the wind. I now have two 54” umbrellas and tempted to buy other sizes as well.

Finally, an umbrella that will hold up.

Very well made, just a little heavier than expected, but that’s because my other umbrellas are not the same quality.

size is quite small, good for single person only. Pretty light weight, convenient to keep it in car.

Product of good quality. Only complaint is that the handle is small, even for average size hand. I suppose thats the price you pay for a compact umbrella but another inch would be welcome. I think most men would agree.

I carry it in my car, it takes very little room, easy to get out and up!

This umbrella is beautiful and sturdy and I love that it has a warranty. I had a small issue and the customer service that I received was unexpected and above and beyond. They were attentive, helpful and keen to help. They ended up replacing the umbrella which I was not expecting as I continued to use it because it still worked very well. I had to keep reminding myself that this was for an umbrella. I’ve received less helpful service from the Fruit company after spending thousands of dollars. The auto open close is convenient and I love that it inverts when closed which is perfect for getting unto public transport. I am picking up extras for my mom, sisters and my gym bag and have told everyone who will listen about the amazing product and service. Now you may think that it costs a bit much, but one of my favorite quotes (by Mark Walker) is that price is only an issue in the absence of value.

Is a little bit more complicated than advertised. When I opened up umbrella for the second time. It turned inside out.

Have only used it once, but love how it both expands and refolds. Had no problem pushing the handle back up.
