> 3 dayThis is the first time that I have ever wrote a review on anything. And that says a lot! But I just have to say how much I absolutely love this keyboard! I am the type of person who loves bright colors, and this rainbow keyboard went perfect with my setup, my rainbow mouse, XL mousepad, LED light strip. And I truly think the metal backing makes it so much brighter. I originally purchased this in November 2020 and so far it’s holding up together nicely. The only reason that I didn’t give it 5 stars is the fact that lately the spacer bar sounds like a spring when you tap it and let it go. It can be distracting, at least to me.

07-06-2025I wanted to like this keyboard, I really did. Its pretty, it looks great, its cool, it glows in the dark. But thats where the pros end. Where do I begin with the cons? For one, the keys sit way too high. I find that I have to arch my wrists back to accommodate the keys. My other option would be to lift my hand/wrist off the table instead of letting it sit comfortably on the table. Secondly, the spacing of the keys is pretty weird. Because of the way the keys sit, when I glide my fingers from key to key, it hits the sides of the keycaps, also due to their shape. That makes me type a lot slower to avoid this problem. Another super annoying problem I have with this keyboard is whenever I capitalise a letter during typing (using the shift key), it keeps not registering....I have a lower-case letter. Whenever I use the shift key, I need to keep it pressed longer in order for the command to be registered. I absolutely do not have that problem with my old keyboard. And lastly, because the keys sit higher, the outer edge of my hands keeps hitting the key to the right of the Fn key (for the right hand). My left hand also hits the Ctrl key for the left hand, but thats not too big of a problem since pressing that key on its own does nothing. I want to return the keyboard back to Amazon, but Ill admit Im lazy and dont want to have to take it to the post office. So now its just going to sit on a shelf until I give it away to someone who wants it. I currently have an Insignia brand basic, boring, bare-bones black keyboard. Its not even a main brand. I got it from Best Buy for literally $12. But its probably the best keyboard I have ever used. Expensive does not mean best, thats for sure, and cheap does not always mean low quality.

> 3 dayIt’s louder than I thought but it’s not too bad. The space bar springs annoyed me so removed them. Was hard getting the metal to reattach to the space bar but once I got it I have no complaints. I can’t seem to change the brightness of the LED fn+pgup/pgdn isn’t doing anything

> 3 dayNormally I avoid this style of keyboard, knowing most of the times the keys are loud and make that HORRIBLE clacking sound that can drive me to murder. Fact is I dumped a man for having a loud clacky keyboard because hed game in the middle of the night while I slept and I could not get rest hearing that CLACK CLACK CLACK!!! THIS Keyboard does not do that! I love it. For those who LOATHE clacking keys, this is the one for you.

> 3 dayI purchased this one over so many others because of the good reviews. And photos that people posted. I do no like the noise the space bar makes but I guess I will get used to it. Everything is well lit. Hope that this keyboard will last longer than my other gaming keyboard from another seller.

> 3 dayPerfect for my needs! I just needed a light up keyboard because my eyes are going bad and I have trouble seeing the keyboard. This keyboard lights up, has a pretty rainbow gradient, and there are different brightness settings and breathing settings. Granted, it only has that one rainbow color, but I think it’s still cool looking. It’s not the quietest keyboard, but not the typical loud clunkiness of a mechanical keyboard. Your roommate will still hear you type. Reminds me of a keyboard I got in 2015. The keys are medium size in height, not huge. Note the keyboard is raised and tilted, and there is no flat keyboard option. So you may need a wrist support pad. It’s very clean looking. No software needed, my Windows 7 computer read it right away. There is a little brush included too for sweeping into between your keyboard keys. I tested all the keys and they work! Such a nice simple keyboard. I’m really happy I bit the bullet and bought this more inexpensive keyboard. Good quality.

> 3 dayIve been working on an old, very loud keyboard, so comparatively, this is quiet but in no way would I call it silent. The keys are eccentric. They have an odd typography and slightly different layout than a typical US keyboard, but I got used to it quickly and find it quirky, rather than irksome. I like the backlighting scheme which is, again, quirky. Overall, I like it.

> 3 dayNothing bad I can say. EVERYTHING about this keyboard is great. My favorite is the feeling from the keys… not loud at all and very comfortable. Of course the lighted affect of colors within the keys is the cherry on top. See title….

> 3 dayThis keyboard is really nice and the lights are beautiful but its SUPER LOUD!!! You can hear me typing in the other room and that makes it hard to work late at night or in the office with others around. Dont buy this FOR SURE if you work in an office.
