> 3 dayThe bag itself is very spacious, even bigger than I thought it would to be. As you can see in the photos, it fits Samsung S8 Ultra easily which is about the size of 17 in laptop. There are plenty of pocketets and storage space. One thing that separates this bag from other regular bags is the main compartment space where you can fit some clothings. This would be ideal bag for travel. Also, there is hidden pocket where can store valuable items like wallet and cell phone. Only downside is that the bag is made of light materials, so it is not as sturdy as other expensive bags. However conisdering the inexpensive price tag, this bag has plenty to offer for people who needs large backpack for casual use.

29-03-2025It is hard to believe how many pockets and pouches and zippers this bag has - not to mention that it can hold your laptop and provide a charger for it. I love the compartments that are location in areas that would be difficult for anyone other than yourself to access. It holds my ThinkPad P17 laptop like a champ - I feel that it is secure. The only thing that really stood out to me when I opened it was that the color actually looks almost more like a bright deep pink than a red to me. Just dont want anyone thinking that it will be a true red. Its a pretty cool bag that should be able to hold everything you could possibly need for a short work trip or as a great carryon if you are taking a longer trip and want to bring your laptop along.

> 3 dayUpdate: I dropped the rating to one star - do not buy this bag. The chemical / burnt plastic smell did not dissipate after 2 weeks of airing out and even running it through the washing machine. Its a nice enough bag at the $20 to $25 price range - very similar to other travel bags sold on Amazon at this price or a little higher. The layout and pockets are very usable and are sturdy enough to stand up to a reasonable amount of travel. The main section is very large and can easily hold the same amount of cargo as a piece of rolling luggage. The admin areas have a nice array of pockets and run the full height of the bag. This is constructed as a travel bag, but be aware that a lot of weight will be positioned far out from your body, which could add to fatigue if worn for a long time. The padded areas on the back are a nice bonus at this price. The big negative is the smell. I am used to reviewing bags, and this one has been off-gassing a plastic smell for more than a week as I kept it opened and hanging to air out. I wouldnt want to pack my clothing in it since the smell would permeate the clothing. Ill keep airing it out, but I have ordered other low-cost bags that either have no smell or the smell quickly dissapates, so the smell on this bag is noticeable.

> 3 daywe love that it is big in space, but fits and works as a carry on for traveling. love that it has many pockets. and holds our 19 inch laptop well, plus the several dozen of cable we carry constantly also. the material is very durable. easy to wipe and clean. and the zippers work well. we love that it has a small zipper are in the lower back, that dosent really look like a zipper area, and use it for our conceal carry when needing to carry the back pack out and about.

Greater than one weekThis backpack is really nice! It has padded straps, and it is easy to carry. I love that has multiple pockets as well. It also has one of those parts that you can use to charge an store electrical items. I definitely recommend this backpack for anyone!

> 3 dayThis is a backpack like most any other. I use it for traveling on short overnight or 2 day trips. It is a good size for that purpose. I also did not notice the chemical smell others have mentioned. It does have a place that my tablet fits into and I once used it for my 15 inch laptop with room to spare. Plenty of smaller pockets for odds and ends. The zippers work well and I have not had any issues with the build quality. The material it is made of seems durable and I hope to get plenty of use out of it. The shoulder straps support the weight of my items nicely and it can be worn comfortably for extended periods of time. Its a great backpack for my travels.

02-04-2025For starters, Im ALWAYS on the lookout for bigger and better backpacks. This one really fits the bill! Let me (literally!) count the ways: 42.28 Liters is the SIZE of this gentle giant! If that aint LARGE, I dont know what is! ;o) I have been doing a lot of traveling as of late, and was able to put this guy through its paces a few days ago. This Yamdeg Backpack has a lot of great features. Plenty of pockets is a must-- this pack has 15, yes 15 of them! I almost misplaced my stuff within this pack when I literally forgot where I put them! ;o) That what a LOT of pockets will do! ;o) The two mesh outside pockets seem larger than usual to me, which is great for holding larger travel mugs and the like. They are reinforced too, with a finer mesh on the inside of them... I havent seen that before. Ticks another box, those mesh pockets. There are five zippered compartments for want of a better word. One fairly shallow starting with the front of the pack, a medium compartment is next, with both a wide pocket and smaller pockets within for your pens, niche items and whatnot, a large (Ill say HUGE!) luggage-like compartment complete with elastic straps within to hold your clothes together on one side, plus a padded laptop pocket on the other side of this section. This compartment completely opens up flat, with clothes on one side and the laptop gear on the other side, which is helpful for those TSA guys checking out your computer stuff. Lastly, the fifth zippered compartment is hidden at the backside of this pack, for you to stash important things you cant afford to lose that may affect you getting around, like passports. Well call that the anti-theft compartment, shall we? ;o) Technology components or ports are available too, like a USB cable and connecting port so you can charge/use your phone whilst the power bank resides in a special inside mesh pocket for example. Ive never had that option before either, and theres not one, but two of these inner mesh pockets (!) residing next to the zippers on both sides of the backpack in what I call the fourth or luggage compartment. Love, love that feature-- nice touch, that one! (Speaking of which, theres only one USB cable connector that is available above one of the mesh pockets.) There are two porthole options that reside on the right side of the backpack looking at it from the front, one for your headphones and the other is labeled USB; obviously for you to connect using your own cable(s) for your devices, be it a for power bank or whatever connection you desire. Ticked another box, that one! This pack has a comfortable padded handle at the top, straps to tighten your luggage compartment so the pack rests on your back compactly. My shoulders are thanking the company that designed these padded, yet breathable shoulder straps as my backpack was filled to the gills and a bit heavy for me. I was heading home after spending a lot of time at one place, and I needed to fill every inch of this sturdy well-made pack, should you want to know. Zippers were sturdy too, come to think of it. And a great way to take a break, you can plunk the backpack on your suitcase retractable handle, using the convenient luggage strap. There are no cons to speak of, save a small wish after dashing through the airport: I wish the laptop section was in a compartment by itself. I was worried some of my clothing items would fall out, like socks and t-shirts that werent contained by the crisscrossed elastic luggage straps. I had to move rather quickly to take out both my computer and tablet out of this backpack to put in the tray for TSA scanning. This particular airport is notorious for making you do that, and it doesnt help matters when they are super busy! One of my other backpacks had this independent laptop compartment feature, but I couldnt use it, because it was too small. Enough said! Do yourself a favor, get this wonderful backpack for yourself! You wont regret it! Have a superb summer coming up! ;o) ******************************************************************************************************* Update: An opportunity to save wee bit of moolah! Greater than one weekI like the attention to detail they put in this lightweight backpack. It is great for everyday commuting or a weekend trip and is suitable for anyone. It has padding to protect any type of electronics like a laptop or tablets and already comes with a USB port, and usb wire that are included. I also like all of the compartments and the more secure one that is located behind your back. It also has additional straps on the sides so that it can be cinched down to take up any empty space and make it not so bulky when you don’t need it’s full capacity. The color is accurate to the picture in this listing, it is well made and looks even better in person.

> 3 dayThis is our second backpack similar to this that zips open all the way like a suitcase. This one is definitely my favorite of the two because this one has a few additional features. Like the other backpack we have, this has a back zippered location thats padded that keeps things like wallets, tickets, passports, etc safer from pickpockets. Its a flat pocket, so dont expect to fit more than that in it. This also has a pocket with an additional zippered and pocket organizer. Like the other backpack, this also has a hookup for a power bank do you can charge your phone from an external port on the backpack. However, one of the biggest differences is this backpack has a pocket inside the main compartment that holds your power bank. Its something the other backpack doesnt have that seemed like a big omission. This backpack doesnt have a separate zippered laptop compartment, but it does have a laptop pocket in the main compartment. This backpack also has an extra pad layer on the front larger compartment (not the simple zippered slit pocket) which is nice to protect other things like ereaders and tablets. Overall, Im very happy with this backpack and look forward to flying and traveling with it.
