> 3 dayReplacing the screws with these snap screws is a piece of cake. The black screen snaps right on. ZERO light comes through. Here’s the issue, this doesn’t breathe at all. If your camping in the winter, you will get quite a LOT of condensation build up between the window and the screen. Just take it off when your not using it.

Greater than one weekInstalling this shade required a bit more effort than I anticipated. It involves snaps. I gave up on that and just used the velcro strips it came with but the Texas heat promptly melted the sticky side so I had to get a more secure adhesive. Regardless, the fabric is very effective as a sunblock and definitely reduces heat and glare. Someone who is handier than me could probably manage the snap installation better!

> 3 dayI debated between this and the pull down shade for weeks. What a waste of time. Lol. This shade is perfect and was super easy to install. The window to our RV door is frosted anyway, so it’s not like we can see out of it and thus? Had no reason to raise or lower it. Not to mention, we have a screen door that wouldn’t allow us to raise it anyway without opening both doors. My RV didn’t have screw holes, so I drilled a small pilot hole and used the self tapping screws this came with. Less than 10 minutes I had JT up. It also comes with Velcro strips to hold down the sides tight. My only regret is that I didn’t buy this sooner.
