I love everything about this cute umbrella only thing I received it damaged

I got this 17 inch umbrella for my 5 year old son. The print on it is adorable. The tail of the shark though kinda folds over flimsily. The umbrella does open and close smoothly. I am a bit worried about the long term reliability of this umbrella. The ribs (metal) part of the umbrella seemed to be attached to the canopy by only a few thin pieces of thread. I don’t know how well those will stay in place long term. Theres also a warning about using this if the temperature is above 100F as it affect the design on the umbrella, so that kinda eliminates using it as a sun shade when its hot.

I love this. My son loves this. It is a nice, sturdy material that my rough 6 year old is able to jangle with breaking. It fits over his body perfectly to cover him from the rain and sun.

My 4 year old son loves this umbrella. His very first. The umbrella is exactly as shown. Its a good size, not too heavy. Vibrant colors. I do have to open it and close it for him otherwise its a great first umbrella for a child.

Got this for my 3.5 year old to use while waiting for the bus. It’s the PERFECT size and weight, and he can easily open and shut it himself. The Dino print is so cute…especially the 3D Spikes. Seems well made! It was raining really hard and very windy the other day, but he stayed dry. Highly recommend it! Hope this helps. ☔️

This is a lovely little umbrella. I liked the range of styles but my child chose this design. It is a really cute whale theme. It is small but roomy for growing children. It is very light but sturdy when faced with breezes. It didnt turn inside out. Its goes back to storage size very quickly and is easily put up. Very happy.

He spends A LOT of time with us and he loves sharks right now. This just seemed so perfect for him. The design is cute and the umbrella seems to be well made. The tail fin of the shark flaps in the wind which is a cute feature. Giving it a sort of 3D effect. The umbrella has the older style J hook handle. It has a manual open / close which is different from the umbrellas I had growing up. There are not sharp latches the you have to depress in order to close it or lock it open. So it is very safe for children. I appreciate you taking the time to read this. All in all, my wife says Laura Ashley is a quality brand and it shows in this cute little umbrella. Likes: 1. Keeps little one dry and safe to start his day at pre-school. He walks one block and sometimes it is raining. 2. He likes the blue whale and the three-dimensional water spout. 3. The umbrella is easy to use and safe. The tip of each spoke is covered. Dislike: He has to peek out a bit more with this umbrella than with a see-through style.
