Layrite Natural Matte Cream 10.5 Oz

I feel like this was a fake version. Its very different from the smaller cup. The smaller cup had the Layrite brand printed all over the inside cap. The big tub didnt have that. The big tub also felt like it was sandy or grainy. It definitely does not feel like the same product.

Ive been using this Matte Cream for years. Id say its ideal for 2/3s of the year. If you live somewhere that its hot, I wouldnt recommended it - unless you use it at night. Okay, as for the positives, it really works well when you get out of the shower. Put just a little bit in your hand and if you have a curly hair mop, it gets it under control. And, I think it smells pretty good. Almost like vanilla. Worth a try.

My barber always used this when I got my hair cut. Love it. Couldn’t wait to use up all my other product so I could buy this. Great hold and doesn’t look greasy.

I tried many different hair products but nothing compares to this stuff. I have short hair and this keeps my hair in place all day. What I like most about it is that it looks like nothing was put in your hair. Other products (gel) seem to make it look like there is gel/product in your hair but this makes it look like no product is in your hair but keeps your hair in place even in high winds. Love it!

It’s layrite. What else to say about this great product?! I love it, and will definitely get another tub soon.

I got duped! I was really excited to get this because my barber used it and I loved it. At the salon it smelled amazing and held great. I ordered this and I immediately knew something was different. It felt more like clay and smells like playdough. There is definitely something off and Im really disappointed cause I was so excited to get this... Now I spent $35 for playdough :c

This is my go to product. I am someone that does not like shiny hair products and likes being able to move my hair halfway through the day. After using a lot of other products, by barber used layrite once and i have not looked back. It has a great smell, goes into your hair easily and does not leave your hair or hands greasy. It is also waterbased and washes out extremely easy which is the way to go.
