> 24 hourThis probably works well if someone with patience installs it. Did I have someone with patience install it? Of course not! The only thing my iPad needed was a new battery. My husband assured me he could fix it. He fixed it all right. Gave it back and the screen was all jacked up. He told me he knew what went wrong. Just order a new screen he said. He could fix it this time. The voice in my head said, “don’t do it girl”, but I did it. From now on, I’m going with my gut instinct. I’m writing this review from my iPhone because I no longer have an iPad.

> 24 hourIf I could give it 0 stars, I would. Did not come with adhesive tape. Backlighting is uneven, only 3 areas lit up. Causes the iPad to lockup and need reboot when the lid is closed. Overall: should have bought a new iPad...

> 24 hourThe screen worked for only a week and then stopped working all together. I had to take the whole thing apart to see if anything was wrong. Nothing was wrong with any of the plugs or anything and the screen is still not working anymore. I wasted $300 on this and a new battery basically because the new battery works still but the new screen doesn’t work. So I can’t use my iPad altogether because of this new screen. I’m so disappointed in the quality of this screen. I literally don’t see anything wrong with the plugs or anything, it just doesn’t work. When I plug in the iPad it makes a charging sound but the screen doesn’t light up or anything. DO NOT ORDER THIS.

> 24 hourProduct was exact right fit for the model. Packaged really well so that nothing was broken during delivery process. Does not come with home button so make sure you know that and when replacing you take the original home button off the screen your replacing. Fast shipping. Did the job. Would recommend this company.

> 24 hourThe product itself is exactly what you would want. Its not an Apple branded screen but then again Im not paying for an Apple branded screen. I am paying for a screen that will function the same as an Apple branded screen. I do have one criticism of the screen though. For people like me where I dont take apart iPads on a daily basis, its hard to know exactly where the metal backing plate for the home button needs to be put on. If you are just a little bit off, its not going to sit right and youre not going to be able to get the glass all the way down. I have learned that the hard way it will have to remove the screen in order to put it back on further back. The adhesive at the screen comes with is not amazing. Not only is it not as strong as I would personally prefer though it does work, its clearly generic little scrips of adhesive that kinda work but are really a little thicker than they should be. Plenty of screens I have ordered elsewhere in the past came with adhesive strips that are close to or identical to OEM. They come with it already on screen and all you have to do is pull off the plastic strip from the adhesive and youre good to go. No guess work on where it needs to go or anything. This screen however comes with these probably three or four inch long little thin straight strips so if you want adhesive in the corner like youre supposed to have, you need to sit there and cut it up into these little pieces and its never going to look pretty or right And if youre removing a broken screen which normally means its going to come off in pieces, youre probably going to have to deal with a good bit of guesswork on exactly where the adhesive should be going. The adhesive that comes with an actual iPad is very thin by design. That prevents any additional flex and so forth while this is a little bit thicker than it should be so its going to leave a little bit more of a lip around the edge and of course since its not exactly in the place as it should be because its not the right type per se, youre likely going to end up wanting to make sure its in some sort of a case because if any liquid gets at that edge, its likely going into your iPad. That said, the quality of the actual screen is good. It even comes with a tempered glass screen protector which is probably a good $30 value right there in itself. Of course it doesnt come with any sort of the usual cleaning supplies that youre really going to need to actually clean the screen properly before putting it on but you can still work around that. So as an actual IT person would I order this screen again? Probably not though I wouldnt say you shouldnt. If all you need is literally just the LCD and digitizer and you know exactly what youre doing and say you already have a stock of the adhesive or you can get the adhesive somewhere else for really cheap that this is a good screen. Everything that I have said thats a negative is just kind of inconvenient and thats about it. However, if Im going to spend this much money on my screen or anything like this, Im going to want at least some basic instruction sheet that shows me simple things like where exactly I should place this type of adhesive or exactly where on this specific screen should I be putting the back bar for the home button. Stuff like that. And the very least I would expect that if its going to come with a screen protector then its going to come with the wipes and stuff like that to clean the screen off beforehand. Like I said though, none of that is a deal breaker exactly but its inconvenient and if I can find something thats more convenient Im probably going to go with that instead. If none of the negatives that I mentioned bother you then go right ahead and order the screen because like I said, the screen itself is a good screen. This is one of those types of situations where I really had to think about exactly what I was going to rate it because its not a five star screen because of the things that listed above. Im also not going to buy it again but I dont think its bad enough to justify three stars but at the same time Im not going to buy it again so giving it four stars still kind of feels off. Regardless of that, Im still giving it a four star surely because the screen itself is close enough to OEM quality that I think its justified enough. I feel like its so many little small issues that are so easy to fix and if they did it would totally be a five-star product
