> 3 dayI like the size of the umbrella when it’s closed , can fit in my bag (backpack) when folded. Its pretty big when its open as well. Shaft is quiet sturdy and the cartying case is super helpful. Overall recommended.

> 3 dayI travel frequently and dont always want to wear a coat with a hood. This is the perfect compact, lightweight umbrella to just leave in your suitcase for those times you need it. Easy to put it up and down. Its probably not going to be the most rigid umbrella on a really windy day, and really its only a big enough circumference for one person. The carrying case is a nice addition. I wish the strap would extend a little longer so it would hit at hip level, but its still a nice feature. (You could even double it as a purse and throw a couple credit cards in if you wanted to keep things really simple.) The umbrella also has its own sleeve/bag, separate from the case. Its pretty easy to get the umbrella back into the sleeve. If you want to make the umbrella even more compact and lightweight you could just slip the umbrella into the sleeve and skip the semi rigid carry case with strap. Either way, great lightweight umbrella to have in your bag for those rainy days when you need it.

> 3 dayWow! This is one compact umbrella. It comes in a very nice case with a shoulder strap, and the umbrella fits in my hand. When you take it out of the case you will find that it is not round, but more of a flattened oval. I think this will make the umbrella fit better into purses/backpacks, etc. When I opened the umbrella, I had a little trouble getting it to stay open at first. Then I realized that there is a release button on the mechanism that I must have had my finger on. No problem now. I took the umbrella outside on a fairly breeze day and the umbrella handled the wind gusts just fine. And, what amazed me was that I was able to collapse the umbrella, get it into its cover and then into its case just fine. Wasnt really expecting that!

> 3 dayUmbrella is smaller than I realized when I ordered it. As with many umbrellas it is difficult to get it back to its original compact size after fully opening---but you can get close to it. It does automatically open to its fullest by pressing a button once the umbrella rod is extended. The design for the small compact size creates a main rod for the umbrella that is very much smaller in diameter than a usual umbrella. It will be a little hard to hold in a strong wind---not enough gripping surface. Umbrella is lighter overall than other umbrellas. This will make it a little more difficult to control in the wind. You can visualize the compact size of the folded umbrella in two pictures, I included. A good idea, if a small size, compact, easily carry able umbrella is needed. However, it is a little too lightly made, in my opinion.

> 3 dayNow it’s rainy season in my area and I’m glad I bought this nice umbrella. The flashlight keeps me safe to walk in the rainy night. I also like the auto open and close feature and its compact size. I chose the red one and I like it very much. Now I always keep it in my handbag.
