The two features that clinched it for me was the open pouch on the back side (with magnetic clasps), perfect to slip in a brochure. The other is the inside pocket that perfectly holds my phone. I can also fit a small water bottle and probably a sandwich. I imagine Ill also use it hiking and birdwatching with plenty of room to slip in a bird book. Well worth the price.
