I purchased a passport holder to use aa a field notes cover and am extremely happy with the quality and the thoughtful design. The stitching is beautifully done and covers the entire piece (Im not a fan of stitching that stops an inche from the center and then picks up again. I like a continuous line.) The interior pockets reach to the center of the cover, meaning theres no aggravating bump caused by a short flap in the middle of my field notebook that I have to navigate when I write in it. The card pocket is a happy plus. The whole thing is made of fine, thick leather that will age to a gloriously soft, well-used, well-loved patina. No off-smells, no dye rubbing off. Just well made by people who know what theyre doing and care enough to do it the right way. Worth the very humble price.

Made really well and the leather smelled amazing

This passport holder is made from real leather, none of that PU crap here. It is a high quality product, however mine suffered from poor stitching. The stitching on the rear of the holder was coming out. I am having Amazon replace it, so I will update this review if the replacement has no issues.

This is a robust leather cover for my passport. I got this to replace my older plastic one which finally wore out. I was impressed at the quality of construction, thickness and durability of this cover. It is larger than your passport thus it also has room for you vaccination card, credit cards or any other paperwork that is less then 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 in size. There is a full size large pocket on each side and an additional smaller pocket on the left side that you could slip your paper ticket (if you use these) in if you chose to. This smaller pocket will also hold immigration/customs forms if needed.

As soon as I opened it, I could smell the leather. It moves and feels like leather and will make a nice touch for holding and protecting my passport.

The craftsmanship on this passport wallet is fantastic. It is crafted of very nice leather (it is tough, sort of saddle style leather, not soft and supple) and its clear the a lot of care went into it. It will last for decades through any sort of use and abuse. It is instantly clear that it is super high quality, and the smell of nice leather really smacks you in the face. The Passport wallet itself is a five star item, no question about it. Why did I give it four stars? I wanted to give this as a gift, and the packaging leaves a lot to be desired. The passport wallet came in what I can only describe as a plastic ziplock bag. For an item of this quality and price, I expect a nice, presentable box or something. This thing is packaged in plastic bag. It really makes a great product feel cheap.

Leather products of this quality crafted locally cost significantly more. This is the real deal.

The first thing you notice about this passport holder is how well-made it is. It exudes quality. The leather is very thick, it looks and smells phenomenal, and the stitching is good. Its made in the USA, which is very rare these days. My only concern is that you have to have very deep pockets to carry it around. I typically put my passport in my pants front pocket when I travel, and this holder is about an inch longer than the dimensions of the passport. Its clearly visible in the product pictures, so be mindful of this when ordering. Overall, its a really good quality passport holder, and it is coming with me on my next overseas trip. I would definitely recommend it.
