I am frequently on Internet video calls but the ceiling light is behind me. Because of this, I show up on the video as a dark silhouette. I needed to get a light in front of my face so I put a table lamp behind the computer monitor and screwed one of these bulbs into it. The light is bright and it works very well. These bulbs are bright and appear to be well made. They are neatly packed in a cardboard box with separators to prevent damage in shipping and storage. I like the fact they immediately turn on to full brilliance, unlike cheaper bulbs that require a warm up period. The majority of the light from these bulbs shines upward if the bulb is screwed into a standard light socket. There is an opaque section of the bulb that starts at the threads and extends upward to the edge of the dome (see photo). The dome is the only portion of the bulb that emits illumination. As such, most of the light shines upward. Keep this in mind if you are planning on doing detail work or reading below the bulb. This may not be the best choice for those types of applications. Due to this uneven lighting, I deducted a star from an otherwise five star review.

The 5000k daylights and 1500 lumens are what I wanted. In the longevity side, they sometimes stop working because of the internal connection points problem, so you have to buy a little more bulb.

These are very bright which is exactly what I wanted. Dining room and living room connect and living room does not have any recessed lighting. So I added these to the dining room fan and it’s bright enough for most of the living too! Would definitely buy again and recommend to others.

I like the white light. You can see great night or day.

Nice and bright white in the beginning but quickly Lose there brightness its been about 2 months and Im already looking for replacements

So far so good! Packaged well none broken. I needed brightness and tgese are doing great.

These are great and just placed another order! The Daylight White are the color I wanted ( I hate the soft white ones), these are bright and just what I needed for some of the rooms in our older home.

If you like a lot of light, these babies are for you. These offer the brightness I have been looking for in an energy efficient bulb.

It came in thin plastic bag and the box was all crumpled. Bulbs were all mixed up. Fortunately none was broken so I’m keeping them but I wish it came in a sturdier box.

Not sure about longevity since they are brand new but hopefully they willl last several years.
