These worked great for dressing up tables for a 2 year olds birthday party.

When I put them in Christmas laterns they look great at first, but after 4 hours the lights looked dimmed. They would be good for a party deceration, but I wanted to use them year after year.

One light string lasted almost a week being used every day for several hours. Very happy with purchase

Batteries are not good at all
