They loved chewing them up to be the most comfy for them. Highly suggest these :) also! Significantly bigger than i expected which is a major plus.

Our 2 -10 week old ferrets are loving them already! Worth the purchase even without the mat. Loving that we can throw them in the washer and dryer.
