Update 1/24/2017: Since leaving the below review about our original order-- Tyler, Heading Sloth at Legit Camping, promptly replied and graciously gave us a credit for our original hammock purchase and even a coupon to repurchase a brand new hammock. We are beyond pleased with this product and customer service. We plan to use our hammock for family vacations and my husband will also use for remote hunting trips-- as a lightweight shelter. We highly recommend Legit Camping and their quality hammock! Original review: I purchased this hammock for a Christmas gift, it arrived on time and is of good quality. Unfortunately, the first time we hung the hammock the cords connecting the hammock to the tree appeared to be loosening and the bags string broke when we tried to close it. I have emailed Legit Camping about receiving a replacement hammock. Please advise how to proceed with a replacement or we will ultimately need to return the hammock for a refund. Thank you.

I love this hammock! I will say, though, My wife and I have had this for barely a month and while we were both in it, I heard a couple tears. We were just laying there, not bouncing around. My wife is 150 and I am 170. Combined we are about 320 pounds. This product is rated for more weight but I would use this is a single person. Also, the straps are garbage. I had to order straps separately and I am glad that i did. I want this hammock to be better because I like the name of the company and like the colors. If you get this hammock, be sure to order some different straps that are flat and not round.

This hammock arrived with everything needed to set-up. It is super lightweight and, as a girl, that was really important to lighten the backpack. It was so light and small, I forgot I had it. After a half day hike, it was perfect to take out and set-up. I havent quite mastered how to re-pack it, but even just folding it back in my back pack was easy and it didnt take up much room... especially for it being a double wide. I only wish it had come with a mosquito net.

I got this as a birthday gift for my daughter and she promptly took it camping. She loves it! Since it was a gift (and since she was in Yosemite), she failed to get it registered for its lifetime warranty within the stated 14-day window. I contacted customer service, and Tyler, a company co-founder, said, “No problem!” Great customer service! Highly recommended.

I purchased this to use while camping at the lake with my family. It is very easy to setup and is very durable. Someone was constantly in the hammock - our kids were fighting each other to get in it. After one weekend of use, we purchase two more for our trips. Very good quality for the money.
