LEGO City Great Vehicles Snow Groomer 60222 Building Kit (197 Pieces)

Bought this for our 14 yr old that still loves legos. Great little set for the money. He loves the snow cannon!

Even though Im not a fan of stickers (which this set has), especially when they go onto to translucent windows (like this set has), I still absolutely love this set. I think that its a great set if you just do the normal build, but it also has a number of excellent pieces that can be used in custom builds. Its listed as being for ages 6+, and I mostly agree. The instructions are easy to follow with almost no areas that would make a kid wonder where to put something. The tracks themselves are easy to assembly, although a little tedious - but not bad. Stickers are probably less of an issue for youngsters unless they have OCD like I do. When built, this vehicle is pretty darn awesome. The tracks move really well, and its a great size for play. The stud shooter is fantastic in that you just turn the black dial on the back to rattle off the studs in quick succession. Well, awesome if youre the one shooting...not so awesome if you have to go find them. :) The one area that isnt perfect is the lid to the main cabin. Its only held on in the front by two studs. Thats great for being able to take it off to put a figure inside, but it also pops off pretty easily if you try and pick up the vehicle by that lid - and its a natural place for a hand to grab on to. I think that could have been done better. Still five stars, though, especially given the great pieces and the ability for you or your kid(s) to reuse them for other projects. The tracks are great for so many things, and that stud-shooter gattling gun. Oh, my. That thing is awesome.

My son loved this. He asked for this particular Lego set for Christmas because he wanted the tracks. We bought 4 boxes of this snow plow to give him enough track for his own planned projects. I love that Legos are so versatile and the bigger his collection of Legos, the bigger his own projects get.

This is a great little set with action! Its almost like an early introduction to the Technix line with the moving parts. My kids love the tracks that actually work. And the snow canon is super fun! Just watch those little pieces getting lost in the carpet! Great little build and they will keep playing with it.

As usually Lego is very fun for children to put together and play with. My son loved this as a birthday gift he is obsessed with legos and snow cat and when I found this I knew he would love and he did.

The snow groomer is a fun build, though the treads get a little tedious to put together and count out. Our boys had fun adding this playset to their other ice research lab and drill sets. They use it to build ice roads and the canon to clear the path off to deep Arctic expeditions.

As always, a cute fun Lego set that my ADD child enjoyed assembling. She really is calmed by building the sets and I love that. This was a reward for her and is unique and fun to play with after building.
