> 3 dayI bought these Lego’s for my grandchildren’s upcoming Christmas. It’s the second time buying Lego’s—bigger set this time—because they love to spend time creating figures and such. Great entertainment and brain exercise for the whole family!

> 3 dayIts a BIIIIGGG set of Legos. This is the perfect set to let your imagination run rampant and wild as you literally build whatever you want to build with ALL the pieces. The set does come with instructions for building maybe 50 animals and such but I think its meant more as a inspiration than anything. It comes in quite a big box and I would recommend being gentle with the box, at least while opening it, as the box does double as an organizer and a great way to stow all the loose pieces. This is probably one of the most cleverly designed Lego boxes Ive seen and I appreciate their innovation. This is honestly one of the best and fun Lego sets for anyone looking to build using their imaginations. The price is high but I highly recommend!

> 3 dayMy girls have been GLUED to making legos all afternoon! The dividers in the box make storage and finding parts a breeze! It comes with extra trays that are handy for sorting out legos to find that one specific piece you need to finish your project. It comes with several building instruction books that are color sorted and really easy to follow along. My 6 year old was able to put together everything pictured. This set is amazing and great for stimulating creativity in your kids. Get those kids away from the screen and onto building Legos!!

> 3 dayWe already have a ton of LEGO, but can you ever really have enough? Ive been building since I was a kid and now my kids build too. Were always looking to add more parts and this set comes with a good variety of parts, in good colors. Also, the larger Classic sets are usually one of the least expensive options for variety bulk parts, from a price-per-part perspective. New to LEGO or thinking about giving this set as a gift? I think this set would be good for someone just starting out with LEGO and wanting free build and/or someone whos not necessarily looking for specific kits and just wants lots of parts. The built-in sorting box is neat and may be useful if you dont already have a storage solution.

> 3 dayIf you are looking for a great building set of legos I would highly recommend this classic set. It has everything you need to have a great base set of all the Lego pieces to build whatever creative idea comes to mind. I love Legos and have some in my classroom, but this building set really jump started an amazing bin of Legos that my elementary kids absolutely love. There are a ton of colors to choose from, each separated into their own bags. Each bag is actually several builds that you can do, there are wonderful instruction books that are full of step by step instructions for building cars, plants, animals and buildings. My son and I had a blast going through each bag and making things in each color set. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about this classic Lego set. It has a ton of classic and unique pieces to build with. It has every color you could want. And it has five instruction books full of great ideas for kids to build. This keeps my kids building for hours, I really like everything about it!

Greater than one weekBuilding huge Lego models like the Harry Potter castle is quite an experience, and I am very glad I did it, but once its done, I am very reluctant to tear it apart again. The same is true for the Lego playsets, where the value in the set is the final built product to play with. You cant play with it if you tear it apart. This set gets back to the origins of Lego, with small models that can spur creativity, and plenty of bricks for children to experiment with their own builds. This is how Lego was in my childhood, where a play session started out with a coffee can full of loose bricks, and ended up the same way.
