> 24 hourRemember that this is the LEGO DUPLO so the pieces are bigger and it is for younger kids. We really love LEGOs in this family. My son can spend hours playing with them. I really like them because he can be creative. Once he is done putting together the item he will often make his own creations. I love the quality of the LEGOs. I don’t think we have ever had one break and we have many, many sets. I also like that he has something to play with once he makes it. Of course he has to be careful with it, but if he is, he can play with it. These make great gifts. I think my son loves it the best of all. It is good for both boys and girls. It is also nice when the set goes with something like this one does. This was a good set. He was able to put it together on his own. It really kept him occupied for quite a while. I think it is also educational. It is good that he can follow the directions and also for hand-eye coordination. I would highly recommend this set.

> 24 hourDuplo blocks and Lego blocks are one of the great toys of all time. This is a simple Duplo set with a “submarine” and a few other pieces which your child will love to play with in the bathtub.

> 24 hourMy 2 yr-old grandson loved this set. He needed help with putting the boat together, but was able to stack the blocks and put the animals on top. He particularly liked the fish and the whale, and the bird usually ended up on top of the submarine. He was also kept busy trying to make the propeller spin, either by blowing on it or with his finger- more often, though, it was one of us who had to make it spin. He did not use it in the tub while we were visiting, but he enjoyed it on dry land (the living room floor). In the tub, I think the sub would be lots of fun. As always, the Duplo quality is excellent. I think older kids will enjoy this, and it will work well with other sets. Fun and cute!

> 24 hourWe bought this as a Christmas present for our almoat 3 year old nephew. He loves bath time, so we were not at all surprised to hear that he loved it. It’s perfect for bathtime. He even put the sub part together himself!

> 24 hourIt doesnt specifically say tub toy, but.... I mean just look at it. So in the tub it went. Huge hit, just keep an eye on those flippers they tried to wedge their way past the drain stopper.

> 24 hourThe Submarine Adventure set is a great building set that lets you build a submarine, a diver, a photographer, and underwater scenes. You can mix and match the different pieces to create different underwater scenes and stories, which is really cool. Kids can make anything they want, and then take it a part and build it again a different way. This set has some new features that I hadnt seen before in a Duplo set - floating and air bubbles! The submarine and whale float, and the submarine and the clownfish make air bubbles. Yes, this means that these can be played with in the water! The pieces are a nice large size so theyre suitable for younger children There are two bags of pieces, plus a 4x8 plate, two submarine pieces, and a whale. This set is targeted for children age 1.5+. The instruction booklet is bright and colorful. All text is provided in English, French, and Spanish. For this set, the instructions are a picture of some additional build ideas. The box has more ideas on the front, top, sides, and back. Based on the pictures, you can see how to build the various components, and how to customize them. The rest of the instruction book is some pictures of other available sets, contact information, an ad for their free Android / iOS apps, and a pictorial explanation that for ages 1.5 up until 4, LEGO Duplo is the way to go, and for 4+, the fun continues with LEGO. And just in case you didnt realize, LEGO and LEGO Duplo are totally compatible. The Duplo pieces are not as tight of a fit with each other (or with LEGO pieces) as LEGO pieces are, by design - it makes it much easier for younger kids! The Duplo pieces have more rounded edges than you usually find on the LEGO pieces - also good for little hands. This means that you can separate the pieces more easily because you can get your fingernail between the pieces and they pull right apart (you and your toddler will appreciate!).
