My nephew (3 yrs) loves this set. The pieces are chunky so he can grip them easily. It is also well made.

I worked with my almost-3-year-old grandson to put this Duplo set together. It was very age age appropriate for him. He was very able to identify and pick out the parts needed for each step in the instruction book and to put many of the pieces together. The best part is that he loves trucks...and especially heavy construction vehicles! So he loved playing with these after they were constructed.

Our family has been a fan of LEGO and DUPLO for more than 35 years and counting. This gift for a 2-1/2 year old boy was a big hit! He loved scooping up the rock! Great addition to the LEGO line!

This is perfect for my grandson because he loves legos and construction equipment. He calls the back hoe a scoop.

My grandson is head over heels in love with this. Its his first Lego set. He only found it a little difficult because he was in a hurry to get them together. He has played with them for hours. He just turned four. I would not recommend them for a two or three year old unless they have very good dexterity.

Sent these to the twins and the report back was they liked them and their Dad loved them!
