> 3 daythe details are fantastic. transforming is surprisingly simple. size is great in scale. the only complaint is the torso usually separates from legs while transforming but is a good display piece and fun to build

Greater than one weekIts a nice Lego set. My son loves it however he was disappointed there was no knee movement, so he has modified it to give it bendable knees and better hands

> 3 dayI got this as a present for my husband and he absolutely loves it. We have been building Legos since forever and like all other Legos, the instructions are pretty much the same.

Greater than one weekCan I review something as awesome even if I havent finished assembling it? Being a first time LEGO assembler, I took roughly 8 hours with rest stops mind you to get to the image I uploaded! Worth the price, effort and the satisfaction of completing 90% ( will finish the rest later)product! Awesome (almost) design and the non parts forming aspect of the play pattern.....on a LEGO! I cant believe they , Lego managed to pull this off. The last time I went on a kit this smooth and suave, it was the PG RX-78-2 Unleashed! Its like a challenge once you accomplished parts A going to part Z, it drives you on and on! This is Optimus Prime! Albeit with all the knobs that Lego minimized without actually forsaking their trademark look. Be prepared to be challenged though, not meant for a Sith and faint of heart as some steps are easy to lose track of especially the left fist finger. Was there a running change to the mold? Im raising this because I almost had a cardiac as per the instructions, his fingers are supposed to be fully assembled but the manual failed to indicate one is supposed to be assembled giving it a trigger finger shape. I thought I lost a part after near finishing the figure! argh! Well I did finish the main figure, and boy, was it a doozy! He transforms and is quite poseable, too bad about his knees not bending though Ive seen some modifications (3rd party) that actually dealt with this (I wonder why it was not officially implemented?), but then, life aint perfect! Lol! I highly recommend getting this for the child once upon a time within you (now on to his ion blaster, energon ax and cube).
