I love legos and I love that there is a legoman skeleton to go with these dinos! So much detail and so fun to put together- i keep them on display too because these need to be seen!

I got this set as a little present for myself after finishing up a particularly onerous consulting gig. It was very satisfying to build, and if you follow the instruction manuals for the bags as numbered (pteranodon, triceratops, then tyrannosaurus), you get a nice progression in difficulty. The finished sets themselves are more for display than for play, much to the chagrin of my three year old. Even re-posing the figures (particularly the tyrannosaurs tail) is enough to make jostle loose some of the smaller pieces, though they were very easy to reattach. I have the finished pieces sitting on my desk at the office; theyre a fun conversation piece, and nice to look at. There were also some clever construction elements. Theyre not strictly accurate, though definitely capture the feel of the dinosaurs in question. But if I am being honest, I dont rank accuracy particularly high on my list of what makes a LEGO set fun. They were more than accurate enough for what I expect from a LEGO set. I did end up choosing to not use the nameplates (which are a flat-topped 2x4 piece with a sticker on top), as I didnt do a very good job with the sticker and the dinosaurs are recognizable enough without.

I bought this set for myself and what a great purchase it was. It looks beautiful and they keep their poses mostly. The jaw of the T-Rex is very flimsy but if left alone will not move on its own however if youre fidgeting with it, playing with it, or something else, the jaw may drop sometimes but its not a major part of the pose and is easily readjusted. My one major problem with this build is that it was relatively boring to build. It took a long time (for me) and was mostly uninteresting as with normal sets you get minifigures, little random things that just add up to make a great set but this was just pretty boring. It wasnt bad by any means. Just a little slow. However, the end result more than makes up for the building experience and is a GREAT display piece. They look accurate, keep their poses (if left alone) and just generally awesome. 100% recommend for lego veterans and people who just like to have display pieces; for children? maybe not so much

I enjoy building lego creatures rather than buildings and such. These were so fun. A few parts i almost lost my mind over. And I’m still afraid it’s gonna just pop and pieces will fly everywhere but i wish i had the exact same set to build again just ... different. Challenging. Looks soooo cool and again fragile. My T. rex is fierce
