Easy to assemble for 10 year old who still loves to play with dinosaurs and LEGOS. He enjoyed putting it together, and plays with this set along with others he has. Good gift, I would purchase others like it as well.

Another fantastic piece from LEGO. All the pieces fit perfectly. It took the family roughly about a week off and on to assemble. The kids were fascinated with the dinosaurs. The price is reasonable and almost equal to what you’ll find in the stores. Great piece!

Lego nerd and college student here. If you are looking for a set to keep your youngster busy during self-quarantine (or are an adult like me looking for an excuse to buy Legos), this set is a very good pick. Its got a great selection of parts, fun figures, and awesome Dino. The builds are cool and interesting. Here are my pros and cons. Pros: The builds themselves are very sturdy. In particular, I am a huge fan of the buggy and trailer. Both of these feature some great accessories, including two cameras, and have lots of nice detailing. The cars windshield is made using crowbar pieces, which I thought was an interesting touch. I am also a big fan of the figures. This is currently the only set where you can get Sinjin Prescott and Danny Nedermeyer wearing a blue suit. The Baryonyx is large and menacing. His jaws can open and close with a very satisfying snap. Cons: The tree build with the treasure in it is a bit flimsy. In fact, once when I dropped it onto padded carpet from 2 feet, it completely shattered (hey I know this is Lego, but that is pretty bad). Still, the pieces that make up that part of the build are also rare and fun, so if you dont like the model, you can just build your own thing. Overall, highly recommended! Tons of pieces and endless possibilities. how can you go wrong with anything lego? Its really detailed and lots of ways you can build stuff with these pieces. I love how this opens up the creativity of the kids.

Lets be honest, unless you are finding Legos on extreme sale somewhere they are ALWAYS overpriced. That said, we all still love them. My son got this for his 7th birthday and he loves the set and loved putting it together.

I got this for my 12 year old son because hes really into Jurassic anything. This is a nice detailed set and my son really seems to like it. I did notice a hint of irritation at times when he was building, but that could just be my son (temper). The camper opens up to display a figure on a cot and there is a video camera on the side that opens out. The Baryonyx dinosaur has nice detail and looks like a ferocious carnivore. This set didnt take my son too long to assemble. Less than an hour and he was distracted with other things too. Overall a great set to get whether you like Jurassic Park/World items or just dinosaurs in general.
