21-11-2024This arrived after Christmas...as expected. My grandson opened the box today 12-31-22. Much to his dismay he found: Missing pieces: One bag, stickers, and all the figures. One other bag was mislabled. A total mess and will be returned.

> 3 dayThis is such a cool Lego set! Its especially great for those who like mini figures as it comes with 4 exclusives: Cole, Zane, Kai and Jay, plus Crystal King minifigure with 4 arms, and a Vengestone Guard with crystal armor. It also has several traps in it and my boys were occupied with this set for hours - putting it together and playing with it. The directions were clear and easy to follow. Lego sets are expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for as other building sets dont compare in quality and uniqueness.

> 3 dayThis set is really neat and all the same quality as normal Lego. While its not advertised on the box, the instructions have a QR code that you can scan in the Lego Building Instructions app (available free on apple, android, Kindle). Then you can use the play together feature of the app which adds a whole new level of awesome to the building and play experience! Also, if - our should I say WHEN if your kids are like mine - you lose the instructions, the pdf version of instructions are also free in the app. This is such a game changer for us!! Apparently, its been around for a year and I had no clue so I wanted to share it here, in case you also didnt know. The physical package of this is huge - like as long as my 8 year olds arm. Any kid will LOVE opening this just for its sheer size! It did ship in a plain brown box but the label on the box clearly says Lego. So beware if youre planning for this to be a gift and the recipient could potentially get it off the porch before you. Heres a tip to prevent that - always ask for a gift receipt, even if its not needed, because then it has to ship in a normal Amazon box so it can hold the product and the receipt slip.

> 3 dayI’m always impressed with the creativity of Lego designers and especially how, over the last few years, they’ve been incorporating popular building techniques from the fanbase into their sets. Not only does this set have a variety of mini figures, which is always a welcomed addition for added playtime, but also includes a tensegrity floating jail on the side of the palace. You have to see it for yourself or look it up to understand it, but this is a super cool feature which makes the jail look like it’s actually floating off the side of the palace. There is a collapsing staircase and floating stone platforms for the mini figures to jump across and a ton of cool looking crystal shard pieces. I also think it’s a clever use of mini figure body pieces for the crystal king’s design for having 4 arms. Any Ninjago lover is going to have hours of fun with this set!

> 3 dayThis Crystal King Temple set from the Ninjago line is one of the coolest looking sets I’ve come across. The purple crystal pieces look amazing, and the mini-figs are incredibly unique. The set itself looks quite large for it’s piece count, and sits pretty high off the ground. This set is also priced incredibly well, especially considering all of the unique pieces and the fact that it comes with 6 mini-figs! My kid is falling in love with the Ninjago line with cool sets like this, and I look forward to seeing what they come out with next!

> 3 dayIts not a creator style set, but one that is exactly positioned for the age range. And its complete...all the ninja are here. The set itself has some nifty features and does feature some interesting building techniques. Having Cole hanging upside down inside a crystal seems a little harsh to me, but such is the way of the Ninjago. However, it is not an extremely intricate set and does offer some room for improvisation. As with most LEGO, this is a well thought out set and offers a lot of flexibility. A fantastic addition to the Ninjago theme.

> 3 dayLike all of the Lego kits, this one did not disappoint. My son loved the kit and details, and I loved how Lego’s teach him the discipline of patience while he builds it, problem solving, and imagination. I’ll admit that I don’t know the Ninjago story line or characters, but my son loves it. The small details in the temple are impressive, and the characters are all pretty cool. I would recommend this for any young kid, particularly if they already know the Ninjago series!.

> 3 dayIt was a Christmas gift for my 11 yo son. He lives it! It took 2 days, little by little, to build it. He didnt have any problem with it and did everything by himself. The set consists of 6 bags. Its not a huge one, but definitely cool one.

> 3 dayWe were so excited to add this set to our collection together with the large Crystal King build. My son is a bit too young to build this on his own, but we spent a number of days putting it together. This is a pretty large set and has over 700 pieces, and there are two main structures as part of this set. The colors are bright and vivid and we really liked the pink accent pieces. There are also six mini figures included, and the Crystal King has a throne to go along with him. My son really liked the traps and floating prison. The quality on this set is what I have come to expect from Lego and it is a really cool set to add to our ever-growing collection.
