Love the Lego Star Wars series, fun build.

Added to my daughters Lego Star Wars collection; this is a beautiful, fun and challenging build. At this point we have developed a fairly serious collection with several of the larger, discontinued and now Unobtanium Unicorn Star Wars sets. Once assembled this A-Wing is definitely a beautiful build and makes a wonderful display addition to any serious collection. The cockpit is among the coolest Lego cockpits ever (in my opinion). Definitely in a league above many of the less advanced, more play Lego Star Wars kits. There is some challenging architecture involved and a couple of slightly more difficult aspects to this build than some of the other Star Wars kits. Due to they way the engine nacelles are attached to the main fuselage this is definitely not designed for childs play, though an older child who is patient and experienced with Lego can certainly build it. It is a collector-grade display set. Therefore, it is not to scale with many of the more play-oriented fighter-type model sets. It is larger. Some may be put off by the amount of decal vs printed pieces. I can see some cost reduction benefits and for me the decals are just part of the challenge, fun and reward of the build experience. The ONLY thing (in my opinion) that would make this set better, would be if Lego had made a 1-of-a-kind pilot scaled to fit the build. The pilot included with the set is not in scale with the kit, and is more of an accent than a functional element. I would have loved to have seen how Lego might have made a pilot that would actually be in scale and work with that great cockpit. So okay, bottom line for any serious Lego Star Wars collector yes this should be on your display case with your other treasures. It is elegant, sleek and very cool.

Incredible detail. 1600+ pieces. Took about two days to compete during this awful pandemic time. If you’re a fan of highly detailed Star Wars LEGO Star fighters you may wanna grab this before it’s sold out and double the price on Ebay

Great ucs set!

This is a MASSIVE build that took me a few hours to complete, and was really fun. I did notice however, that the box had some cosmetic damage on it, but that might have also occurred while shipping. Overall, its an amazing set, but if you are someone who wants the box in pristine/factory new shape, I would look elsewhere.

This is an excellent and very detailed Lego set. It took a while to build but once done was very satisfying. It is part of the Ultimate Collectors Series and is not intended as a toy set for kids. This is meant to be a display unit. A young adult could assemble it, but I would recommend against kids assembling it since it is pretty complex in terms of how it is assembled. At nearly 1700 pieces it comes in 11 bags. The instructions are laid out well and are easy to follow. It comes complete with a Lego Display stand which is the second tot last of the 11 bags the set is divided into. I would highly recommend this set for the discerning Lego collector and is looking for something that is highly detailed and pretty intricate. This was my first Ultimate Collectors set but is unlikely to be my last.

Love this build. Once its completed, its solid and holds up well. Very detailed.

This is a beautiful set - could use some minor improvements but then Im a wacko when it comes to Star Wars. This set is moderate to very difficult in terms of challenge - not for kids. But if you appreciate and adore all things Star Wars - you will love this. That and it doesnt take much space. There are an obscene number of small pieces - for something small and compact - its very elegant and complex in design and structure. Hence my remark - not for kids. But the challenge is what makes it that good.
