The genius that decided the Legos should be under tension but only be attached with 2 studs should be re-assigned to bathroom duty at Lego Land, and never be allowed to design another set again

Easy to build. Took a little over two hours. Looks great.

My wife loves these - this was challenging but not frustrating and kept her occupied for most of her down time for a week, great quality to keep as a model post-completion

I am a seasoned lego collector. I have been collecting and building lego my entire life. Throughout the years there have been a few weak points on a few sets that render certain parts of a build fragile. This set is far and away the wonkiest set of them all. The yellow accent tubes are too stiff and short to stay in place with a single connection on each end. I couldnt get the thing to stay together. Sitting on the kitchen table, the thing just randomly gives way under tension and explodes. Ive resorted to a hairdryer to prebend the yellow tubes and super glue to get it to stay and its still too fragile to dust with a duster. This set is garbage.

It’s another easy build with the rest of the helmet collection. This one was a little different from the rest. Lotta fun and happy to have gotten it.

Obviously this is meant as a display piece, which is for the best since if you touch it its likely to break. This is a very delicate build in part because the central striped piece on top wraps around all the way from the bottom and puts a lot of pressure on a pretty weak point in the forehead region.

I just wanted to write a quick review responding to the complaints about the yellow tubes on the helmet. I had no issues assembling the 2 required on either side of the pinstripe. I will say that it took some finessing to get the front part snapped in place. I’m an adult lego enthusiast, and could see this causing a problem for a younger builder. That being said, looks awesome when completed!!
