Quality wood and finish along with easy assembly

We bought our first Leick furniture a couple of years ago and was surprised by the quality of it. It was packaged very well to keep damage to a minimum, it was easy to assemble and looked more expensive than it was. So I bought this table to complement that one and the shape of it fit well with what I needed it for. It assembled as easy as the other one but the quality was not the same. One place on the table had been ground off, I assume this happened when sanding it. One of the side parts of the table directly beneath top was not square so it left a gap. Some of the holes that were drilled into the legs where you placed the pins for the lower shelf were drilled off center and yet others were dead center. I saw that Leick had been bought out by another company in early 2020, I wonder if the quality is going down hill. Anyway, the blemishes cannot be seen easily so I’m going to keep. Now I need a coffee table and will shop around as I’m afraid the quality might be going down.

Very well built and easy to put together perfect height next to a chair.

This table was the answer to having something near our recliner in a small space. We cant believe the quality of the workmanship. We were so happy to find something made in America by a company that has been in business for 4 generations. It went together in about 10 minutes (I am 74!) and is so perfectly aligned that it is as if we bought it at a furniture store already assembled. Good quality wood and finish. I dont know how to upload a picture but I wish I could. It is a beautiful piece of furniture. It was packed so it wouldnt get damaged. My neighbor liked it so much she had me order one for her. Suggestion: put a towel or rug on the floor when you put the top upside down to attach the legs so it wont get scratched. I had read that and it was a good suggestion. No tools required. I will remember the Leick furniture name in the future.

The spaces underneath where you tighten the bolts are extremely small and difficult to get to, especially on the end where the drawer slides in. The assembly itself is simple with good directions and the table is sturdy and attractive when finished. But trying to reach the bolts with a short little allen key is very difficult. Also, my table arrived one washer short and I had to go to the hardware store and buy one. Small expense, big annoyance. And I tried to change the drawer pull only to find it is not a standard size so Im stuck with the fragile one that came with the unit. But I still love the table next to my armchair with my coffee cup on it.

We are delighted with these, bought two - one for each end of the sofa that we ordered. They are perfect, great color and grain, they match, super craftsmanship, as good as the $300 side tables at our local non-chain furniture store. We needed something slim because the new sofa is about 12 longer than the old one. Would definitely recommend this manufacturer of wooden furniture. Notes: The drawers are 2H x 3W x 12D and are nicely finished inside and out. When putting together, put your hand in the end where the drawer goes to access the corners at that end. This will make sense once you start the assembly job. Small hands would be a real asset also. I have large, shaky old lady hands but it still went well. It will be up side down when you are putting it together, so leave it that way and slide the lower shelf down the legs and put it the shelf stops, then turn it right side up and put the drawer in. The flat washers stick together in the bag, so you really have the 8 claimed.

This product was a pleasant surprise. I was somewhat apprehensive about buying a piece of furniture on the Net. No offense Amazon. As a Prime customer I buy from Amazon all the time but this is the first time I ventured out to buy a piece of furniture to put in my well used great room. It is perfect. I was looking for a chair side table/lamp that could be put in a a very limited space. The table/lamp is well constructed. It arrived well packaged and upon opening and unwrapping I did not notice the slightest mar. I did replace the lampshade but only because I thought the one provided was a bit small for my room. I did not want the light to illuminate down from the shade. I added a barrel shade which is a bit bigger than the shade provided and it did the trick. Also makes the table/lamp look much richer. The makers of this product deliver a very high quality product. Thank yo amazon for selling their products.

Quality side table and very good Customer Service. One of my best Amazon purchases.
