I bought this laptop only so I could play the Sims 4. Ive always wanted to try a gaming laptop, and since the Sims is the only game I play I figured the Lenovo Ideapad would work well, and it wasnt too expensive. Ive pretty much always played the Sims on just regular laptops, so my main hope was that the battery life on this gaming laptop would be better than my old laptops. Unfortunately, those hopes were in vain.

I got this laptop for video and photo editing, gaming, streaming etc…. I’ve played on it with my VR (oculus quest 2) and it does work, however it’s at its lowest performance. Eventually I’ll upgrade this laptop but it still works fine. Google Earth works really well. Only issue is there is a driver “advanced micro devices, inc - display - 31.0.12012.10” that’s not updating. Has an error code “ install error - 0x800f024b”. I’m not sure why it will not update but I ran a diagnostics and it says everything is working fine. If anyone knows how to resolve this please let me know

This laptop sits in an interesting space...its not built to the max like the Legion series, but its not a netbook either. Call it the Legion Lite. I shy away from calling it a “budget” gaming laptop, for reasons I’ll explain below.

It was amazing at the beginning, but suddenly I had damaged pixels on the screen. Im dependent on it heavily now, so it wont be possible to ask for replacement until maybe a month or two. Lets see how this goes
