07-06-2025I used this card to replace a 2GB SD card inside my Canon Rebel DSLR. The 2GB SD card I was using did not have enough memory capacity and my wife and I had several instances where we took this camera somewhere, starting taking pictures, but then ran out of memory storage and had to begin deleting photos before taking new photos. Not good! The 2GB card could only hold a couple hundred high-quality photos.

> 3 dayThe first half of the marketing literature claims write speeds up to 120mb/s while the last half claims 70mb/s. When the cards arrived the packaging indeed states 70mb/s. Easy to overlook, but can be disasterous when expecting to deliver real 4K UHD raw footage to a client at 100mb/s. Chance stutters at the 100mb/s write speed is not worth the livelihood gamble. If the literature was more consistent in claims of 70mb/s throughout, I would change my rating. Returning.

> 3 dayIm very pleased with my new set of Lexar cards. Lexar is my go-to for photography. To format my new set (in-camera, of course), I needed a firmware update for my D810. On the day, my new set of Lexar cards seemed to write faster than my older set and performed flawlessly.

> 3 dayLexar is a known brand name, and seeing professional in the product title makes me think this is a higher end Lexar memory card. Perhaps it will last longer, and survive more read/writes before it dies.

> 3 dayI use shoot with a Sony a99ii digital camera in RAW (not compressed RAW so image file sizes are 85-86MB each) in dual-write mode (write the image to two cards simultaneously). For the last several years Ive been using the SanDisk Extreme Pro UHS-1 95MB/s SDXC cards. While reliable (zero issues with any SanDisk card) in real life theyre not as fast as theyd have you think and they tend to be expensive for what you get, IMHO. They have, however, been fast enough for my needs and if I can find a pair cheap (and not counterfeit) theyre a reasonable deal.
