LEXIVON Aluminum Miter Saw Protractor | 7-Inch Rust Proof Angle Finder Featuring Precision Laser Engraved Scales (LX-230)

> 3 dayI currently have Starretts angle finder and bought this one to modify for short outside corners. This appears to be a well made tool but the 2° graduations make it unsuited for my work. As a wood worker, many of my wood/carpentry projects include stained wood where I dont get the benefit of wood filler and paint to correct for irregular miter cuts due to wall inconsistencies. Miters have to be exact. 1/2° makes a difference. Starrett uses single degree graduations and I can split the difference with decent accuracy. 2° not so much. The Lexivon will probably work for most people but will create challenges for those requiring precision angles.

> 3 dayI bought this product to help setup my miter saw and for measuring angles in general. Recently I made a cedar bucket with ten staves and a slight angle. This device was invaluable for creating the jigs for cutting the tapers for the staves and rabbet joint for the bottom. Hold the set angle very well, but still easy to adjust. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayEasy to use and understand, made very well, doesnt feel cheap at all. Installed prefinished salvaged redwood trim, couldnt have done certain pieces without this tool. 22.5° outside corners were from 19° to 26° actually, and everything went together nicely after using this tool. Fit 7 different angles together, protractor was right on. Never wouldve worked like this without this thing, especially with pre stained trim and no caulk.

> 3 dayI bought this to help cut some trim work that is at odd angles. This is a very handy protractor that is proving a valuable addition to my toolbox.
