The front of the printer houses a small 2.8-inch LCD display to guide you through using the printer and its settings. The front is where the paper tray which holds 350 sheets of A4 paper, opens out. The back of the printer is the location for all the cabled connections including the power cable, USB, Ethernet and fax line. This is not ideal if you want to push the printer up against a wall but this is standard. The automatic document feeder on the top of the scanner can apparently handle 50 sheets of A4 paper at a time and is able to scan or copy both sides of a page automatically. The Lexmark MB3442i is louder than the dedicated home-office printers we have had before but in saying that if you are printing you shouldn’t expect it to be super quiet no matter what printer you use. I found that print quality is great, very fast and pretty accurate with small or no lag once you give the command. My work involves a lot of scan, hence I was able to test the scan quality and with that I feel Lexmark was pretty good. Scan itself is fast and easy to control. If you have an office, be it at home or not, and need a laser printer with high functionality including wireless capabilities then this is one printer you should be looking very closely at. I find the printer to do the job what your expect it to do with high reliability. I wish the app functions were more reliable.

My only issue being a man with large hands is the touchscreen numbers and letters are hard for me to get right. But I have a daughter to assist me with that! I think this printer is very fast and the images are very clear. There are many features that really impress me inmcluding being able to print from my phone. The scan and print takes no time at all to have your print. Setup was fairly easy and we were up and running in a short period of time. It also has neat smart features like cloud printing, and cloud faxing. I can use voice commands to print, scan, or copy documents using Alexa or Google Assistant. I can also print from or scan to cloud services like Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive. We have not used all the functions but I am sure we will be pleased with them as well.
