IF YOU’RE LIKE ME PAY ATTENTION…. I normally do in-depth research of any product before i purchase, but the reviews on this monitor were amazing so i didnt do my full checks and this is my HONEST REVIEW….Out of the box great monitor its sleek, its stunning, and the games look amazing. However, absolutely NO SOUND which is highly annoying. I would say if you’re using a headphones then you have no issue, but i have to go out and get myself a pair of the PlayStation headphones just to feel like i’m in the game. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED in this purchase!!!

First off, I’m always skeptical of getting a monitor or TV, and need to see the product myself IN PERSON before I purchase displays because I am a snob about the picture quality and color fluidity for not only PC games, but entertainment and work purposes. I bought this in the Amazon Prime Sale so I got a heck of a discount, almost 50% off. This is the newer model of these gaming monitors, so no need to look for the newest product (as of July 2021). Even if you buy this monitor at MSRP, you’re getting exactly what you pay for. I was surprised at the pixel and refresh rate quality the moment I plugged it into my 3090. Before I was using a curved gaming Samsung Odyssey monitor, great picture quality on that as well, but the difference is very clear. I think Samsung focuses more on hues of blue, where this monitor is focused on warmer colors like yellows, reds, and browns. White and black colors are optimized very well, which makes choosing brightness for your games much easier. No more upping the brightness because you can’t see. The HDR10 on this is some of the best quality HDR I’ve seen on a gaming monitor except for another high end Samsung Odyssey my brother owns. But keep in mind, the Samsung one ran him around $1100 and you can get just about the same quality on this LG monitor for ~$800 less. Be sure to change the refresh rate in your setting to get the maximum quality out of this monitor. The rest is up to you :)

The monitor works as advertised with exceptional performance. However, seniors usually have bifocals. This means that the monitor should rest as low as possible, with the best being nearly touching the desk. The stand for this monitor will only go down to 5 inches from the desk. This forces bifocal wearers to cock their heads up to simply focus on the screen. (I have fabricated my own stand to keep from having neck cramps.)

this monitor does exactly what it said it would with no issues. Bright, crisp, good contrast. No complaints. Shipping was as expected.

I upgraded from a GeForce RTX 1070 FTW using an HP 60hz monitor to a MSI GeForce RTX 4090 Suprim Liquid X GPU and needed something that could handle a higher refresh rate. This one was by far the cheapest deal for a 27” 240hz monitor. It was missing the screws that connect the base to the monitor, but luckily I had some in the garage. Overall, after the first game of Hunt: Showdown I can definitely say that this monitor can handle everything on high settings with V-Sync turned on. Before, on my 1070, I was getting 70-90 FPS and now I am getting 170-200 FPS during gameplay. Easy setup. There is only one DisplayPort connector and two HDMI connections, so make sure your setup for any of these combinations. This monitor is a great deal for a 240hz monitor. Would buy again.

It turns. Not in any normal way though… it turns with HD perfection and being able to see the glorious detail of videos you have up while procrastinating on your job. You’ll be so glued to it that you’ll forget that your in a zoom meeting where you’re supposed to be presenting a game changing and revolutionizing system to bring your company out of bankruptcy!
