> 3 dayI bought this for my guest gaming rig, which my young son also uses. It replaced a $99 24 TN Dell Black Friday Special. The 144Hz creates a very sharp and impressive motion, which is as good if not better than my personal monitor, a Pixio PX7. However, the Image Quality is far worse by comparison, with the primary issue being color banding. If youve seen multiple High Refresh Rate monitors before, youll know that the image quality is all over the place with these. TN Panels are fast and generally inexpensive for what you get, but often have image quality issues, such as banding, gamma shift, poor viewing angles, etc. IPS Panels generally fix much of the Image Quality issues, but cost more and are often worse at handling motion, due to slower pixel response. VA Panels often dont handle motion perfectly, either, but give you a much higher contrast picture. But at under $200 for 24 1080p 144hz, you cant be too picky. Even expensive monitors arent perfect, and at this price point, you really have to pick your poison. In my case, Im using it as a guest/kids monitor, but the banding really kills it, IMHO. I actually ordered a Pixio PX248 Prime to compare and potentially replace this LG. Its $10 less and has the same basic specs, but its an IPS panel. Even if its a little worse at motion, the better color, lack of banding, and better viewing angles will probably make it win in my book. Ill report back once I can compare them side by side.

> 3 dayI saw it in a review recommendation video and decided to buy it. Its perfect in size for my desk, the brightness controls are pretty nice, and the design looks cool. The only complaint that i have is that the volume is weird and i can only get it to work when j use headphones. So im guessing ill need a sound bar maybe. Otherwise i give it 8/10. Worth the money for sure

> 3 dayPicture quality on this product is HORRIBLE!!! I own a 7-year old LG monitor which’s also a TN monitor and it looks MUCH better than this monitor which is a joke! I bought this expecting it to be a direct upgrade to my old LG monitor, but other than the smooth 144hz the color banding was insane! If you see the image I put that’s literally exactly how bad the banding was while my 7-year old LG monitor has no banding problems and even its cheap VGA to DVI-D adapter which causes screen tearing and lowered its screen quality somewhat still looks better than this one! I’m going to get a refund for this monitor and look into buying a IPS or VA instead of TN as it seems their screen quality dropped down greatly with the years!

> 3 dayI bought this plus a Microsoft Surface to replace my wifes old desktop PC. It hasnt worked out because I have found it to be impossible to adjust this monitors picture to be anywhere near the quality of the Surfaces picture. (With the Settings in Windows 10, it is possible to have both monitors on, simultaneously, so, it is easy to compare them side by side). This monitor has many possible adjustments - which may be advantageous for a gaming monitor but it is not for a general purpose one. There are too many combinations of possible adjustments. The blacks are not as black as the Surfaces, the whites are not as white, and the colors are not as vibrant, no matter what combination of adjustments one uses. I took the Surface and this monitor to a nearby Microsoft Store hoping that an expert can adjust the monitor better than I can. A MS tech guy spent 20 to 30 minutes trying to adjust the picture. He too was unable to adjust it to be anywhere near the quality of the Surfaces picture. He gave up, eventually, with the comment, I guess this is as good as it gets. Disappointing, and a waste of money. My wife will probably never use this monitor.

> 3 dayLast December (2019) I built new computer systems for my husband and me. I had purchased two 32 QHD LG monitors for our new systems that my husband and I both love. I needed to get a second monitor for video editing tasks, but didnt need (or have room for) another one as large. So, I did a little search and came across this one. It is nearly identical to ours main monitors, except its smaller at 24 and has a standard HD picture. The refresh rate of this monitor is quite fast and well suited to video intensive tasks (video editing, motion graphics, gaming, etc.). Weve had no problems with the monitor since purchase. The color was reasonably accurate out of the box and matching it to my main monitor wasnt difficult. Were very happy with LG monitors and have no reason to look at anything else. If youre looking for a great monitor with a nice picture, good color and fast refresh rate, I see no reason to look any further, unless you want to move up to a larger size. Highly recommended. ** If you found this review helpful, please mark it as helpful to let me know and help other buyers. Thanks! **
