Fit great in my dryer

This works fine when new, but the flex hinge design does not hold up over time. The heat from the dryer causes the plastic to get brittle and you will need to keep replacing it. It should be a steel pin hinge design.

My lint trap cracked at the point where it bends to open. Im sure this happens to everyones lint trap at some point. It doesnt help that my kids are a bit aggressive when opening the trap. I bought this and dropped it right in. No problems. Perfect fit. Works great. I got another one to have on hand as a spare. My kids are still aggressive when clearing out the lint.

My Kenmore Elites are made by LG, this was an exact match. So great to have a new lint filter, I do tons of laundry because I have pets and I also love fabric softener and I would scrub my old one it with warm soap and water to keep the mesh from getting clogged up. After 7 years the filter cracked at the bottom so I replaced with this one which I believe is an OEM part. Very pleased.

The original filter that came with the dryer lasted 3 years. The hinge parts were cracking and one side broke completely. I expect this exact replacement to last just as long, maybe more.

I clean the trap after every load. This looks exactly like the original, it was exactly what I needed. Its a beautiful when things actually work!

This lint trap was just the part I needed for my LG Signature Dryer.

The filter on my LG dryer broke in the hinge area - probably the weakest area of those filters. I was apprehensive about ordering this replacement filter. But, happily it was an excellent purchase. It fits perfectly in my LG model DLEX8000 and is identical to the original filter.

Shipping was quick. My local appliance parts store did not have any in stock so I came to Amazon to order. Exactly as the one that came with my dryer.
