If its on too long and theres no activity it goes into *sleep mode* that takes a ridiculous amount of time to reset. Ive tried turning off the sleep mode but that did nothing

Suppose you could do some kind of gaming on it, but its only 60hz (im using over 200) Its more for stocks or working.. Picture is decent. Many modes for viewing / movies etc. No sound that I can tell though. PRICE for it - perfect. I did wind up buying an asus zenscreen mb16ace that hooks up via usb-c connectino as well for a 3rd since my main pc is an msi gaming laptop. So this screen uses the hdmi and my asus uses the usb-c connection. Would have bought 2 of these if it had a usb-c cable/option because the price was AMAZING

Affordable price, but picture is not the greatest! Using this for a dual work monitor.

Perfect for what I needed, just wanted extra screen for when working from home. Attached to laptop & set up screen location & good to go. Great quality picture. Can’t complain. No idea if it’s good enough for gaming as it’s not what I needed for. But for the price it was perfect for me.

My laptop has a 4K display and there is a noticeable difference in resolution between the monitor and laptop screens. I do drafting/3D modeling for work and the extra resolution really makes a difference. I thought by now that all monitors would be 4K by default as the laptops are. For occasional work, gaming or watching videos, 1080p should be fine but for drafting, this is not the best monitor.

Primary use for monitor is to display spreadsheets and databases. Text is crisp. Dialed down the brightness significantly (from 52 to 28.) After tying in to the PC, reset the monitor to get the display to sync picture size to the monitor as I was missing about 1/4 of the display. After the reset, perfect. I use it for 8-10 hours every day and it does extremely well for my purposes. Has a better picture than my older (4 years old) 27 AOC monitor that sits next to it. Another good product from LG.

Got this at the start of the pandemic. Good size and easy to adjust brightness. Picture quality is fine - I noticed it depends on which extension I use (hdmi Vs usb Vs vga) but that’s probably just my laptop.

Other reviews confirm issues caused by poor documentation. Initial startup impossible without knowing where the on/off and menu access is under and behind the LG Logo, with a mini joystick switch.!!! I wasted too much time thinking the HDMI cable was faulty, and the initial screen declaring no input led me to that conclusion. I hooked up the VGA/RGB cable and eventually found the joystick control and selected the HDMI input. The video input only supports up to 1920x1080, which is important if used with a Lorex Security system that can output 2560x1440 for higher resolution monitoring. Works for me, and the price was right, along with the 3 year warranty.
