Who would think that a 5 year old truck with only 30K miles on it would need new hood struts. The same truck has a leaking read pinion seal too. Thats right, this pavement princess that is well taken care of is falling apart already. But that is besides the point. 2017 F250 6.2L and these struts are an exact replacement. Same manufacturer as the ones utilized on the rear doors of the Knapheide KUV service body on my service truck, and those or original to the truck & see alot more abuse every single day than a set of hood struts should ever see… so Im confident in their ability to survive. I’d buy again.

Just as good as things works, they will need to be replaced. This was one of those items. Had my son assist and was done in no time. Very pleased with the packaging. No excess but enough to keep them safe. Thanks

These are easy to change out and glad I dont have to prop open the hood anymore. Ford is famous for having these go out.

OEM were junk

Does not fit vehicle as clearly stated in details and confirmed prior to shipping. Now we need to return so we can purchase the correct Item not from this vendor, and they are stating we have to pay $5.19 to ship it back to them...

Hood

This was easy to install and fixed the problem. I have an extended warranty on the truck but this saved me $60.

These were extremely easy to install and was a direct replacement to the OEM hood struts on my ‘17 f-350! I haven’t had them on there long, but they seem to work great!
