LiftMaster 877LM Wireless Keypad (ONLY for Openers with Yellow Learn Button)

I tried 3 of the wanna bes and they failed. These OEM worked easily. Spend more work less.

Pairing is easy. Just follow the included instructions. Make sure that your opener is compatible with the remote. Typically you look at the color of the learn button.

My second attempt with a different vendor/product. ALL directions are not written precisely enough to get a good result without multiple experimentations. Incorrectly coded devices dont help either. Beware that multiple attempts to program may fill the programming registers and that you may need to clear them to accept subsequent attempts. Presently, alls well and responding correctly with handheld and wall-mounted remote controls, HomeLink vehicle-mounted remotes, and LiftMaster cellular telephone myQ application capabilities. I shudder to think about whatll happen if we have a power failure or a dead device battery.

This remote requires a yellow learning button on the controller. The confusing part, not this vendors issue, is that the yellow button has no label (just yellow color), so its a matter of faith that this is the correct remote. Turns out its the right remote, and were back in business. Recommended.

the product was great. shipping was great. The bags inside of package were open. Did not order a used one.

As long as your garage door openers program button has a yellow donut, youll be extremely happy. Worked first time. Five minutes from start to finish, including mounting the programmed keypad. And you can add temporary passcodes for contractors, deliveries, etc.

After putting in the batteries and programming it, of course.

This is easy to install and use. No climbing ladders.
