Good value for the money as a non-professional welder.

Flashes me occasionally when Im welding consistently for a while. Headband sometimes hurts the back of my head when wearing it for several hours but other than that its a great deal if you dont weld a lot or if you are a beginner welder. Only cons are getting flashed, its gonna teach you the value of a really high quality helmet.

Great products as always with Lincoln. Great value and reliable helmet! Love that I can go from welding process to grinding or cutting with a simple twist if the external knob, easy with a glove on as well. It has been a pretty good helmet but the adjustable knob on the outside of the helmet is absolutely stupid. You barely bump that thing, or flip up your mask and accidentally bump it and it will turn your shade all the way down. I’ve accidentally welded with it on grind mode. Stupid design with that know on the outside and would make me not buy it again.

This welding helmet is lightweight, reasonably comfortable, & seems durable. I have been welding with this helmet 2 nights a week for the past 2 months (taking a class). Being a beginner welder, this helmet has definitely endured some extra abuse, but seems to be holding up very well.

I purchased this welding hood for maintenance at work. Pros It’s really simple and affordable with the auto dimming knob on the outside! I prefer this over the inner control because it makes going from grinding to welding much easier, and for me I work in a rock quarry so it’s not a clean environment. This helps control any unwanted mud or dirt from actually going inside your hood! Great function. Cons Small view slot but that’s all I can complain about
