If you need to connect 2 solar panels in parallel these are a requirement. I installed these on my solar array in the mountains several years ago and they continue to work as designed with no sign of deterioration from the sun, rain, ice or snow.

Worked good for adding panels to system. Fits the male and female ends perfect.

I like how easy it is to buckle and unbuckle without special tools. I bought the first set, used it for a few months, and I thought it went well. And I bought the second set, and it broke on the first day. (see photos) I guess the plastic part is not that strong. I dont know if it was already cracked when I received it, but its too soon to be broke already. I guess I can glue it back on, but since its new, I returned it and waiting for the replacement. I think since this is meant to be used outdoor under a lot of sun light and also is exposed to wind and water, its better to be stronger. Perhaps you get what you paid for.

I plan to parallel two more panels into my systems and I needed extra connectors. These are exactly like the ones I already have. When I order my extra panels, these will come in real handy.

I use the inside the roof so water resistant means the squirrels didnt pee on them and short them.
