Listerine Essential Care Fluoride Toothpaste Gel-Mint, 4.2 Ounce (Pack of 2)

I prefer Listerine toothpaste over other brands but is difficult to find in some local stores so I prefer to purchase through Amazon. The only thing I dont care for is the mint flavoring. I am just a person who does not like the flavor of mint in anything and that includes toothpaste. Cinnamon would be better but I know that isnt going to happen. So, Ill keep buying my mint gel Listerine.

The first time I tried this toothpaste, I thought it was a little different and odd. After the third time using it I knew I would never buy anything else! It has such a clean/refreshing feel to it! My husband has some dental issues and is super particular with his toothpaste. He is a big Listerine fan, so he reluctantly gave it a shot! For a month straight, when ever I was around as he brushed, he had to remind me of how much he LOVES our new toothpaste! If you are contemplating using this toothpaste for the first time, I say definitely try it! Its wonderful! On a side note - this toothpaste is much cheaper at Walmart (under $4 a tube). I solely purchased off of Amazon out of convenience because I can only find at Walmart.

I am loving this toothpaste. I have been a long-time Mentadent user for about 20 years but the manufacturer discontinued the regular, non-whitening kind and the new ones are all just too sweet plus the whitener iritates. This is not too sweet, and cleans even better than Mentadent did. It is very similar in taste and smell to their mouthwash so you know that all bacteria is washed out. I like how clean my mouth feels after it. I have one concern only: every time I use it, about an hour later a very thin layer of my skin (inside my mouth) is pealed off. It is almost like a facial where you remove a layer of skin to reveal a younger fresher layer. It does that in my mouth. I dont suppose there is anything wrong with that; it doesnt hurt and the new layer is super smooth and clean so perhaps it is a good thing. In any case, I am stocking up in case this manufacturer also decides to change what they make! I love this. I never felt my teeth cleaner.

Since I have been treated for Gingivitis, I am a huge fan of Listerine Antiseptic Mouthwash and I use it three to four times per day (and this mouthwash has helped to improve my overall dental health). So when I discovered that Listerine also has a toothpaste (on Amazon), I had to order it! As soon as I brushed for the first time with this toothpaste, I could tell a huge difference in how clean both my teeth and gums felt after brushing! The taste is a clean and fresh taste and I did not find it overly strong tasting. My favorite thing is that this toothpaste is a GEL, it foams just right without over foaming or becoming sticky on my teeth, gums, etc as it is very easy to rinse this off. What I do for more improved dental health: 1) I first use PLAX Rinse BEFORE I brush. 2) Use the new Listerine Toothpaste (brushing three times daily for two minutes each time). 3) Rinse after brushing with Listerine Antiseptic Mouthwash after each brushing. Results have been that my teeth and gums look clean, feel clean and my gum health has improved!
