My students loved these felt pieces. They are quite large. I would suggest a large felt board. I used them on a stand-up easel that I turned into a felt board and we still could have used more room.

The story pieces that come with this set are GREAT!! I have used it with my grandson in a fun play and learn activity! There are so many ways to use these pieces to tell/re-tell the story. The pieces are big and bright - just as you see in the item review. I bought a little golden book to go along with the story pieces. Thats not necessary as they have the story with the set. It also comes with coloring pages and pictures with lines for writing if your child is at that stage. A good buy!

These figures are large which is perfect for a classroom setting. Even if used on a one to one format, still a good investment and gives children a chance to touch each figure and place during the appropriate place in the story.

When children listen to and begin to retell stories, using props like these felt pieces are not only enjoyable but helpful in their learning to understand story sequencing (beginning reading skill). Take it from a kindergarten/pre-k teacher, this is a wonderful story time alternative after the book has been read again and again!! Great colors of felt and good size for small hands and plenty of pieces to be able to retell the story, even if you change it up and makeup your own story!!!

I decided to get a felt board recently, thinking it would be something different for storytime with my young grandkiddos. They love it and I even find them sticking on the characters while playing alone. My granddaughter isnt talking too much yet, but you can see the wheels turning as she recalls the story. Our grandson is a couple of years older and he really gets into the story reenactment. An oldtime way of telling a story, but it still holds their interest, especially when they have to look for the next pieces to add as I tell/read the story.

I mostly bought this because of the price and hoping for something to entertain my son during rainy days. I was pleasantly surprised by how large the pieces were and the quality of the felt pieces was also a pleasant surprise. Its great for little hands to handle and for them to actually see the pieces as you tell the story. Right now my son is 2 so he might not sit through the whole story, however, I still feel like this will be great for our homeschooling as he can just play with the pieces and create his own little story :) So glad I decided to take a chance on this product!

These characters are bright printed and so much fun to use. My grand-daughter at two loves telling the story with these characters.

ALL the felt pieces were in excellent condition and were large enough for children to see on my hand made black story board. Children were fascinated with the story pieces and immediately wanted to play with them after my presentation. it was an immediate hit with my 3-4 year olds. Order came in timely manner with no damage.

This Three Little Pigs felt set helps my grandson tell a great story. He loves the story and the set was actually one of his favorite Christmas presents. The pieces are large and durable, with vibrant colors and there are more pieces than I expected. I would recommend this product for any child who loves a story. It helps them use their memory and imagination!
