> 24 hourI had thought that the amiibos were going to be like playable custom characters. You would play against it, save your training data that it learned, and then be able to take the amiibo with you and have a custom fighter that YOU controlled and could fight against friends with. Thats not the case. While the amiibos are BEAUTIFULLY designed and very well packaged, theres not much else to them. And for collectors looking for use and packaging, you have to take it out of the box to use it, making collecting them in mint a moot point. I understand why theyre a hot seller for Nintendo fans (like me admittedly), but younger players or players looking for a new edge to their game arent going to find much fun out of it other than a pretty alright training opponent and a way to piss of your friends once it hits lvl 50.

> 24 hourI ordered mine as the English version but instead I got the Japanese one . It looks cool seeing it in Japanese but I prefer english version. his sword was a little bent and the box was a tiny bit bent here and there but it was fine . I ended up finding the English version at Best Buy recently , but its great to have both to compare and admire, since I keep mine in the box .

> 24 hourMario, you started it all. My son put these hunks of plastic called amiibos on his wish list for Christmas 2014. Mario is his favorite Nintendo character, so Mario had to be acquired. Since then, he and I have bonded over the treasure hunt that is Amiibo. From the ones that are his favorite characters to the ones he wants mostly because theyre rare...we have spent endless hours chatting Amiibo, and trekking about in search of Amiibo. Thanks, Nintendo. My son loves the game enhancement, and I love speaking his language at least some of the time.

> 24 hourYoshi looks good from afar, but upon closer inspection he has a few small paint defects. However most people wont take issue with this because hes just so darn adorable. NFC works great too.
