> 3 dayThis worked out much better than the bowls that were supplied with the habitat Id purchased for my ferret. But hes so rambunctious that it occasionally loosens up a bit on the holding bracket. No big deal...just a small matter of tightening it up again from time to time. Im too afraid to REALLY crank down on the wing nut to make it even tighter, since all the pieces are plastic...but again, its an easy fix. He used to completely tip over the other bowls I have and food was wasted. No more problem with that! Id recommend it to anyone with a small pet kept in a cage.

> 3 dayI bought two 20 oz crocks and they are amazing! They are sturdy easy to take out and clean or refill. The main reason that I got these crocks were to try to prevent my ferret from digging which is when she digs the food or water all out and it is extremely annoying and these crocks resolves the situation. Great product!! Should highly recommend!! I have not had any problems with the locking mechanism and you shouldn’t unless you try to lock it on as tight as possible.

> 3 dayWe have been using these bowls for many years for our parrots. We have some old ones, at least 5 maybe 10 years old, that even my blue and gold macaw was not able to destroy. Last year I purchased several replacements and they are all breaking around the center of the bowls where the attachment piece is. It seems as if the compound has changed or they are using less stock in the molds only Lixit knows for sure. Maybe just a bad batch. Definitely not as durable as in the past. Very disappointing because I love the design. The large birds dont just toss the bowls when locked in. It works well in my big cages and it is easy to just swap bowls quickly for easy cleaning in the dishwasher later having spares on hand.

> 3 dayWhat a nice little crock for my rabbits. Attached great to the side of the cage. No more wasted spilled food.

> 3 dayDoes what it says... Stays in place keeps my rabbit from knocking it over or getting poop in it. It was much deeper than I was expecting. I have a Liomhead rabbit and probably would recommend a smaller size. We put his daily carrot and a handful of herbs in it and keep his food in a smaller bowl.

> 3 dayWe have have these crocks for our Goffins Cockatoo for a while. She is really hard on her dishes. They have lasted well. It is a cinch to install into the food/water door. New crocks are a whole lot harder for her to twist out. These are great.

11-06-2025Works and stands up to some tear. My little 11 lb dog hates food dishes in his kennel. He tries to flip this, but it just has some claw marks in it now from 6 months of use. He can not knock it apart or off. Had to buy a second for water.
