> 3 dayI use blue a lot (motorcycles mostly) and this version seems less wasteful since I dont get drips, easier to use than the bottles.

05-06-2025I love having this around since it doesnt make a mess like the liquid stuff will do and its easy to apply. I can also keep it in my toolbox in the freezing weather and not have to worry about it. I love that the cap, which always breaks and leaks all over the place, cant happen with this. It works just like a liquid stuff but its in a semi-solid form. Highly recommended!

> 3 dayI think the twisting mechanisms bottom is not fully connected to the loctite. Once I twisted out the loctite and try to twist it back, the last 1-2cm cant be kept. I wasted the 1-2cm.

04-06-2025Love the stick form vs. the liquid loctite. Just rub instead of dripping out too much fluid. Probably wont go back to the liquid.

> 3 dayArrived in good order. This stick avoids a mess when applying. I like the fact it stays where you put it.

> 3 dayGreat alternative to the liquid option. No fuss, simply dress the threads and install. No mess on your hardware of hands. Never leaks in your tool box and works like a chapstick tube. Great improvement to an already great product.

> 3 dayI noticed after using it and coming back to it again the next day or few days later it tends to dry the top layer out. This ends up getting scraped off and thrown out. Kind of like throwing out half the stick over time. I think Ill go back to the liquid loctite versus this stuff. However it is very easy to use, stays on the threads where you put it, and doesnt have any nasty odors.

> 3 dayYou should be using this on everything that isnt in fluid service or too hot for the threadlocker. It keeps bolts from backing out from vibration. The glue stick style applicator lets you use less product and it is far cleaner because it doesnt drip off of the bolt while you insert it into the threaded portion. Im on my second stick in 5 years and I do a pretty fair amount of mechanical work at home. If you are a casual mechanic, this stick could last you a lifetime.

31-05-2025In a word +Convenience+. This beats the pants off using liquid threadlock. Overall, I’ve found that Loctite brand threadlock works better than any other that I’ve tried. It doesn’t pay to economize. This stuff is ridiculously expensive. Alas, it’s so much nicer to use, doesn’t drip all over the place, so I am willing to pay the big price difference between this and the liquid version. I keep a tube of this in my on-board motorcycle tool kit, as well. This is a solid product, and I certainly recommend it.
