> 24 hourI bought this after reading forum posts about staked vs glued ejectors on 1911s. Apparently this is what the pros use to “glue” ejectors. I had a glued ejector from the factory that came loose after 14 years and didn’t feel like having my ejector staked as it would have made me send my frame back for machine work. This worked perfect to glue my ejector and has held solid for a long time.

> 24 hourHoly smokes, this stuff stopped all my creaky BB30 bottom bracket clicking woes. My original bike assembler didnt use this when installing the bearings, but if you follow Specializeds instructions, they want you to use 640 green sleeve retainer (without saying Loctite). This is it. Use this stuff between your press-fit bearings and the bearing shell.

> 24 hourWe have a very busy auto repair shop, recently we had a Chevrolet pick up that had lost the differential carrier bearings. When the bearing race spun it damaged the differential housing, because a used one is $500.00 and a new one was out of the question for this customer, we opted to use Loctite #640 high strenth sleeve retainer repair. It did the job very well and we will use it again if we find the need.

> 24 hourGood product. Read the applications and usage instructions. It does exactly what it claims to do. If you are using it on a BB30 bottom bracket, be aware that you CAN still remove the bearings later with a sharp rap from a steel hammer.
