I needed loctite 680 to set some slip fit bearings on my full suspension mountain bike main pivot, but just ended up using this. And I beat the hell out of my bike and not one problem yet...

I use 640 when replacing bushings in GM transfer cases, transaxle, and transmissions to insure no “walking” down the road. A little bit goes a long long way.

Quick shipping. Great price. Perfect size for a small to medium project. Used for an internal project on a motor - worked like a champ!

Used this on a lawn mower valve guide that had slipped out. Put this on guide, used punch to tap around it to make it tighter. Have mowed several times and still holding.

Holy smokes, this stuff stopped all my creaky BB30 bottom bracket clicking woes. My original bike assembler didnt use this when installing the bearings, but if you follow Specializeds instructions, they want you to use 640 green sleeve retainer (without saying Loctite). This is it. Use this stuff between your press-fit bearings and the bearing shell.

We have a very busy auto repair shop, recently we had a Chevrolet pick up that had lost the differential carrier bearings. When the bearing race spun it damaged the differential housing, because a used one is $500.00 and a new one was out of the question for this customer, we opted to use Loctite #640 high strenth sleeve retainer repair. It did the job very well and we will use it again if we find the need.
